There was a small bit of pride in herself as she realized she FINALLY beat Asher in a disagreement. Usually, she just submitted and allowed him to win, but this time, she was triumphant! They were so perfect for each other.

And then she laughed at his disbelief. "Yes love, I'm serious. It's May and the kids will be out in just a few weeks. Do you have anything special planned for them?" she asked him curiously. She and Asher had never discussed what would happen during the summer. Naturally, he would want to spend as much time with the kids. And she knew they did travel quite a bit, so Asher might be gone for awhile. Plus, Chloe wanted to see the kids, too. She hadn't seen them since the holidays, and she missed them, and she missed seeing the way Asher smiled when they were around.
