She had almost lived in it a year now. It was exciting. "If you wish," she shrugged. This is where she missed Jake even more. He had never minded the formalities. She had once been like Chloe. But learned otherwise. "I used to be another employee just like you. I guess that's why I feel so odd. Plus I kind of hate my last name," she said to her, taking seat in the chair.

"That's good. Being closer to the Ministry is always helpful," Briony nodded with a smile. This woman was going to have to loosen up or she was going to go crazy. This meeting was now going to feel like talking with Lucy for the first time. "Are you married?" was her next question.
