Decided to show up, huh?" She laughed and gave her friend a hug. "Missed ya!" She then turned to the quiet boy standing next to her. She heard his power, (which she happened to be extemely jealous over!) and greeted him with a heart-warming smile. "Colleen O'Callaghan, so nice to meet you!" She told him, tucking a strand of dark brown hair behind her ear. "Oh, and I can affect peoples moods based on my mood. Y'know, like, if I'm really happy than you probably will be too. I'm also getting a little control over the weather, the same way though. Only affected by my mood." She stated this last part with a bit of a humph, knowing her power might seem a little more impressive if her mood wasn't a factor.
Arissa laughed and hugged Colleen as she finally came over. "Of course! I couldn't leave you here in some of your fowler moods! Especially if you need a pet to curl up with!" she said. Then, with a quick stretch, she transformed into a large dog and barked up at her friend. She wagged her tail, her tongue hanging out to one side before she transformed back. "Missed you too!" she said with another quick hug.
Dimitri smiled and nodded once at the girl. "Well, then our powers are related..." he said with a smile. "Plants need both your good and bad moods," he continued. Quote:

He smiled as she mentioned a wolf following her. Of course. That was definitely the Arissa he knew. "Have you been working on birds at all? I figure it'd be brilliant to be able to fly!" Calix said.
Seeing that Dimitri was not particularly enjoying all the questions, Calix instead turned towards Enid, who looked rather bored. She was now seemingly talking to herself about how hungry she was. Calix could sympathize with her on that one. He was starving. "Yeah, I'm hungry, too Enid. We should convince Dimitri to grow us a few potato or corn plants. Maybe even an apple tree or two." Calix said, nudging Enid and winking. Oh, the trouble he was going to get into this year!
"Yes!" she said with a bright smile. "I actually was able to take on an owl form this summer- it was quite fun! Did you know that they can turn their heads nearly all the way around?" she asked with a grin. "But flying is SO much fun," she said with a sigh. Birds were one of the transformations that she enjoyed the most- but they were a little more difficult than most animals. They had a different bone and muscle structure, so the transformation took more time and energy.
Dimitri looked up as Calix and Enid mentioned his name. Hearing the conversation, he smiled slightly. "Well, the problem is that I don't have either of those seeds with me- I can't just grow anything on command," he said with a shrug. Apple trees were his favorite, they provided not only food, but nutrition for the animals in the area as well. And, he wouldn't brag, but his apple trees always tended to grow the best apples. Quote:

Ya'll like ma family." Coheed added a fake sniffle at the end of her sentence and pretended to wipe away a tear from her cheek.
She looked back over at the new boy- Dimitri. Co gave him a small wink. The boy seemed to be releaved that everyone had back off a bit. It was something that happened though. When Coheed told people to do something, they usually did. Just because she could go into someone's head, so everyone assumed that she knew something they didn't.
Coheed sat back down in her chair. "Yes food, I wish you would all stop talking about it." Her stomach had been growling since noon, but she was too caught up in everything around her, packing, getting ready, excitment. But now she could relax with her friends. "I am just so-" BANG. Well perhaps a little to relaxed, for Coheed had phased through the chair, and was now laying under it on the floor. "UGHH! I hate when that happens." She managed to moan and laugh out as she rubbed her head as she stayed lying on the floor. Arissa shrugged and smiled. "Well, I am quite glad that you are here," he said with a bright smile. "Oh, don't get all sentimental on me!" she said with a laugh. "You'll get some of the others going too!" As they all went to sit down, Arissa couldn't help but laugh as Coheed slipped through the chair. "Sorry, Coheed!" she said, bringing her hand up to cover her laughter.
Dimitri looked up as the headmaster entered the room. He was an imposing figure despite his older look. He listed carefully to his words and settled back once he was done. No fighting- he could do that... but who knew what the semester was going to bring. Arissa smiled as the Headmaster entered and gave a similar speech from the many years she had been there. Her stomach grumbled right on cue and she looked toward the kitchen for the food. She hoped that there were some good vegetarian dishes available... most animals she wasn't able to eat- for good reason.
