The atmosphere within Gretta's office clearly had escalated and not on her account, which for Gretta was not allowed. She couldn't fully understands Lucille's frustration at her and why she'd felt so strongly about writing to the students parents. What agenda did Ms.Stedman have and how did it involve her precisely. Naturally she didn't have to speak with Gretta to attain a resolve, so why exactly had some come if she didn't need to. "Your tone," she started, "your words," she continued and gave another pause. "I'm baffled by your actions," she said vaguely getting to her feet and circling the office and repositioning herself behind her desk.
"I give you my opinions on what would be the right way to go about getting your wishes fulfilled and in return," she took in a breath to pick her words carefully," I find myself being constantly misunderstood and attacked. But let me say a few things," her voice became direct and stern. " I never once said you couldn't speak with Mr.Rider. I advised that you went with solid information because in my opinion you didn't really have any. My OPINION," she enunciated, "is valid because you choose not to share it with me. But if in fact if you really trusted Mr.Rider and his judgement there would be NO necessary need for you to come speak with me because there would be no doubt Jacob would handle this issue the same way he did with the Werewolf episode." Her agitation had risen from a content state to a mixture of emotions: confusion and frustration.
"Let's leave the cheeky attitude elsewhere especially when it's about this Department and let's be frank," her teeth gritted at the thought of Ms. Stedman hinting at her ignorance of the past of the Department. "Back in the day," she gave a mocking hand gesture, "Samantha Rose was the Department Head. Not Jacob! So the way this Department functions and represents itself is on Jacob's account. How this Department conducts itself currently is no way near as remarkable as it used to be. And my opinion is once again not invalid because I have worked under Madam Rose and Jacob is not comparable with how he handles crisis," she paused, "you know the Werewolf incident." She rolled her eyes at allowing herself to nearly say half the things she said. But it was too late! "About the proposal, I didn't mean an actual hand written document. I was referring to a verbal proposal. Articulating your ideas and desires which would encourage your listeners to take action. If I were the Minister and you came into my office and presented this information. I would surely investigate it but make no promises. Why would I not take immediate action? Because you hadn't provided me with substantial information. Ms.Stedman, you walked into my office and asked to speak with me about a serious matter and yet you don't find it wise to release full details. I might as well deem this conversation as you spreading foolish rumors," her eyes widened as she slammed her fist down on her desk.
"My final question is why have you decided to come meet with me? To bring awareness within the Department? For advice? Support, because I given and taken all of the above." She sighed fingering for her wand and holding it firmly in her hand. "I will repeat, you have my support. But few key things: The Headmaster name is Bontecou not BettenCourt so please be sure to get his name correct. Secondly, I do doubt Jacob and I will continue to lack faith until I see his actions and judgement calls have improved or changed. Third, if you don't need my help or assistance then I don't know why you have come here and you would be not only wasting my time but your own. And last," she squinted her eyes and peered directly into Lucille Stedman's eyes. " I act and do whatever is right for the people I serve and the people I work for is the bettering of this magical community. So saying you're surprised that I support you is like saying your surprised I would do the right thing. I may not be the nicest cheerful witch of the century but I have never given ANYONE in this department a reason to doubt me and my ethics."

"Ms.Stedman I'm sure you have nothing positive to say so let me not allow you to waste your breath anymore and show you to the door. If you hurry I'm sure the Minister we be able to meet with you in a few weeks. Or you could just go to Jacob, but I'm sure you really don't want to do that because naturally you would've never came to me," she finished stowing her wand back into her desk drawer and smiled looking past Lucille and towards her next guest.
"And he probably wouldn't want to see you either," she mumbled keeping a pleasant smile on her face for her next guest.
