“You what?” Krel said lingering in the doorway uncertain if she should turn around and walk out or stay and figure this out. She certainly was confused, but she was so tired of confusion that she was ready to run away screaming like a little girl who’d seen a nasty bug. “How…when…what?” She shook her head unable to articulate anything really coherent.
Edward was a little surprised at her reaction, but he walked to her and said it again. "I've transferred from Security. It was time for me to move on and because of my skills, I was placed here. Is that a problem?" He wasn't sure what would happen next, but he was curious about her reaction.
