It must be combined with the determination and will to apparate, along with the destination of where you want to go."

"If you need to apparate because you're already in a dangerous situation, then I assure that poor deliberation will be no more dangerous to your health or physical wellbeing than that situation would be. If you think your risk of apparition to safety is dangerous or fatal compared with your current situation, then there is a good chance that you have enough time to focus on your three D's."

Regardless of that, wands are not needed in Apparition, so please make sure yours are away or I will have to confiscate them until the lesson is over. Now, what kind of movement do you think will be necessary to Apparate?"
