"Oh well then....maybe he wasn't deserving?" Whitney was so confused now. She turned back to the professor.
"Sir?" she started, raising her hand, "What exactly do you consider deserving? What would the standards be?" Because a vanishing performer wasn't all that great, not to her anyways.
"I should clarify my name huh? It's Whitney Ash-" she started but had to stop mid sentence. Was she hearing wrong? "I'm sorry did you say Toussaint? As in Nicholai Toussaint's sister?" Was that even possible? She knew he had a sister but hadn't actually thought of meeting her. "Isn't that just lovely. I love your name by the way. As I was saying, I am Whitney Ashford." Nothing memorable about her name. 'Nico.' she thought, still not able to get over meeting his sister.
"I agree with that too. Only, from what we know,Xavier didn't do much."
"Just call me Cela." Celandine answered with a smile. She looked at Whitney strangely when she stopped mid-introduction, "Yeah. You know what?" Cela looked around with a cross expression on her face, "I'm the cool Toussaint and its sooooooooooooooooooooo annoying that people know me because of him. So what if he was all hardcore with points for Slytherin?"
They'd struggle without him and Will thats for sure.
"So what if all the girls were making kissy faces at him? Nico isn't here anymore and I am and I am cooler
and prettier." Cela made a face, wondering why she felt the need to say all of that. "But hi, Whitney nice to meet you." Celandine smiled brightly, "and I like my name too."

Now that was a time she knew she would have been angry if she stayed behind at that time. She was more than happy to have missed out on that part.
"So what would have made her anti-muggle?" She wanted to hear what Cela had to say about Wendelin the Weird and gather her view on things as well. It was always good to weigh out one side before sticking to one side.
"I'll tell you sometime." Cela volunteered, happily.
"What would have made her anti-muggle?" Cela thought about it, "Well, we don't really know anything about her family, maybe they were hurt or something by Muggles. Or maybe she was driven from her home or something like that. Maybe she just didn't like that there are more of them than there are of us. Or maybe she was crazy." Celandine mused.

"I wonder if she was a pyro? Maybe the flames held some hidden meaning .... ooooh!" Cela sat up, "Maybe Wendelin the Weird scryed the flames!" Yeah Cela liked that theory.

He examined the list of who had which card again.
Standing, Truebridge idly added another question to the ones already on the board.
Humming one of the songs from the musical Rent (For some reason... he had no idea why it was in his head) Ethan sat down again and observed the class.
"Ohh neat!" Celandine noted, reading the added question.

Tobi thought that was a little far fetched, but...
"Er, that's also a good thought, thank you Celadine." There was something about the weird little girl that he tended to like to humour. Maybe it was the scorpion that she kept in her underwear. Girls who kept poisonous creatures in their foundation garments were always to be placated.
"Chaos theory." Celandine stated, "Maybe his disappearance shocked someone so much that they had a heart attack and either died or... went to hospital and met a healer who nursed him back to health and then they fell in love and got married and had a child who changed the world in other ways. Maybe.... one of the other people on these cards wouldn't have done what they did without his disappearing act." Cela smiled brightly at Tobi and adjusted her top slightly.

"You know what?" Cela stood up and walked over to Tobi, a sweet expression on her face as she picked up an abandoned butterfly net, "Sometimes its easier to win when people underestimate you." Cela donked Tobi on the head with the Butterfly net and poked out her tongue, having made her point. "And the tapdancer might have had some mean dueling skills since he was either a really good apparater or brilliant at a disillusionment spell." Cela noted, sitting down again.
"Hi Dom-in-ick." Cela greeted, jabbing him gently in the leg with the butterfly net she still held. "What card do you have?"
