Jesse ran his hand through his short blonde hair in frustration. What the heck was he doing?! Or more like, had he done? Why was he standing there out in the corridor like a coward with this guy he hardly knew? He could be inside the hall right now with Skye holding hands like they'd done before and everything would have been like always. Why was he behaving like a complete idiot at the moment?

His green eyes flashed back towards James who had first been uttering somekind of apology but had now said something which had caught Jesse's attention. His eyebrows shot up and his eyes widened in surprise."What?!" It was actually more of a rhetorical question, though, since he'd understood the other boy perfectly well, it was just the fact that what he'd said was causing Jesse's expression to change into a quite thoughtful one. Was that it? Was that why he'd just totally panicked? Could it be that that boy who was standing right in front of him knew more about his relationship to Skye than he himself did? Eying James a bit suspiciously he asked while trying to sound rather uninterested, "Do you...uhm...do you have any experience with something like that then, James?" Eep, what was he doing? Asking this boy whom he'd only met yesterday for help?
