Noticing the glance from Kohan as she placed the item back in her bag she explained, “This is a special device my mother created for me. There’s another one in the basket where ginger is kept. If this begins to vibrate then I know something is happening.” She said, “It was a birthday present from her.” She finished smiling a bit sadly.
Ariana smiled briefly, wandering how exactly to say what she wanted to say. “Um…” she stalled, looking around for any kind of distractions. Just then she heard another knock and jumped, not expecting it. Blushing a bit she threw a grin at Madame Kohan before glancing curiously at the door. This was a highly private topic she thought and kept quiet, thanking her lucky stars for the reprieve to think it out. Thinking she should act normal she did so, smiling warmly at the two students, hoping they wouldn't think she's weird.
Madame Kohan smiled once more. "I'm sure that with your determination, you'll be able to do anything. Just keep that goal in your mind, and you'll reach it in no time." She encouraged her.
As Ariana explained what she had taken from her bag, Angela listened with quiet curiosity. Well, that certainly was an interesting mechanism. "Goodness...that does sound...well, it's quite the way of communicating, I suppose." Did it only vibrate when bad things were happening? She wondered silently.

He looked past her and saw another girl sitting in her office with a somewhat troubled look.
Madame Kohan kindly asked them to wait outside.
"Oh sure. Or I could come back some other time." he offered. He hadn't come by with a serious issue which seemed to be what the librarian was right in the middle of.

Dipping a hand into her robes, she retrieved a few pieces of candy, tossing them to Rian and Ludo. "For the road." She chuckled. "I'll see you two later."

Just as she was about to close the door again so that she and Ari could continue their conversation, another voice interrupted. However, this one belonged to someone she had been intending to speak to for some time.
"Fabian!" She exclaimed. "How...how are you?" With seeing him, she couldn't help but think back to Mac and Max's strange behavior in the staff room.
