Needing to clear her head and calm down she headed for the library, the one place she could be herself. And it helped that Madame Kohan was there also. Feeling a small smile creep up her face she knocked a few times. It was the perfect time to speak to the librarian about something that had been on her mind lately, something she hoped Kohan could help with.

Madame Kohan had settled down at her desk only minutes before she heard a few knocks. Pleasantly surprised now, for she hadn't had visitors since the beginning of term, she raised her voice a bit. "Come on in!" Perhaps it was a student needing help finding a book or perhaps it was someone she knew well coming by for a visit.

Ari smiled at once, hearing her voice and she opened the door, her green eyes brightening up as she saw Kohan sitting there. "Hello Madame! I thought I'd come by and have a nice chat before things got really busy for both of us." she said by way of greeting. "That is, if you're not already." she added before looking around at the oddly empty office.

"Ariana!" Madame Kohan rose from her seat as she took note of who her visitor was. "Why, hello, dear. How have you been? It is so nice to see. Go on and have a seat." She offered.

Following the girl's gaze around her office, she chuckled. "No, not busy at all as you can see. Rather strange; for my office is usually full at the beginning of term, but you're actually my first visitor."

Quickly offering a chocolate treat from one of the jars sitting upon her desk, Angela returned to her seat. "So. Seventh year. Time does go by so quickly...are you ready?"

"Madame Kohan! It's good to see you!" Ari replied stopping herself from running over to the older woman and hugging her senseless. Sitting down in front of the desk Ariana smiled happily and took the pre-offered treat, eating it slowly as she put down her bag, being careful not to move it around too much. Getting herself comfortable, she crossed her legs under herself and looked up and replied, "I've been good! In fact I have good news; my cat Ginger is going to have kittens soon." she beamed pride written all over her face. "Know of anyone who would want a kitten in a few weeks?" She asked, grinning a bit.

When she heard she was the first visitor, Ari blinked, "Wow, weird. I guess everyone is busy looking for treasure, or at least that's what I hear." she shrugged, her interest a bit piqued. "But that's alright.Gives us time to chat." she added nodding to herself.

"Seventh year, it feels so weird. There's so much I don't know. you know I don't know how to properly duel? I've spent all my time here reading or having wild adventures I've missed the important things." she mused, frowning slightly as she shifted in her chair. "No one wants to duel someone who can sense emotions." she chuckled dryly. She sat thinking for a moment, "Am I ready though? I think I am. I know what I want to do with my life, it's all about getting there." She said looking at Kohan with curious eyes.

Rian made her way eagerly to Madame Kohan's office. She hadn't really chatted with her for a while, adn she hoped that they would have time to talk. Rian knocked quietly on the door and waiting for an answer.

Madame Kohan took a chocolate treat from the jar as well before setting it back onto her desk. It was always so nice to see Ariana. She had known the girl for quite a number of years now, and would most certainly miss her once she left Hogwarts.

“Oh really? Well, that is wonderful news!” She smiled in response to Ari’s revelation of her cat having kittens. “Hm, well, perhaps Professor Brooks may be interested.” She suggested, for hers was the first name that popped to mind. Of course, she was the Care of Magical Creatures professor, so that could certainly have a bit to do with it. “Or…” She grinned again, leaning forward and lowering her voice. “I may want one; I only have an owl, and a kitten would be a rather nice addition.”

Sitting back now as Ari mentioned treasure, Madame Kohan slowly nodded. “Treasure, you say? Well, that’s certainly interesting. A treasure here at Hogwarts?”

Listening carefully now as Ariana began to answer her question about her seventh year. “Ah, now dear; duelling certainly isn’t the most important of subjects you learn at Hogwarts….” Her voice trailed off for a moment as Ariana mentioned her quite special ability. “Yes…how is that going, by the way? With the emotions and all?”

Smiling once more, she spoke again. “And what exactly do you want to do with your life? If you don’t mind me asking, that is?”

Not long after she had spoken, a knock sounded at her door and Angela glanced towards it instinctively. That always seemed to happen.

"Come on in." She called, wondering if it was a student with a question or perhaps a professor who came to visit.

Ari sat for a moment just looking at Kohan as she te the chocolate treat. a small smile crossed her face as she thought of past talks, where Ari was either confused or upset. all it took was 10 minutes with the librarian and she was fine.

A full blown smile crossed her features as she nodded vigorously, "That would be awesome! you'll love the kittens! Of course you'd have to have the second pick since I'm sure professor Brooks would take one." It was the least she could do after all, she had been dealing with the pestering of the cat for a few days already.

She nodded, "That's what I've been hearing anyway. someone said something about finding something and that led to some weird discussion about digging holes in the castle." she shrugged and crossed her ankles.

Oh I know" she replied nodding now, her green eyes focused on something over Kohans left shoulder. refocusing she added, "But it would be helpful in the future right? I mean, there's dangerous things out there." she paused and grinned, "I find it hard just to find the time now to do anymore than study and sleep, but learning to duel would be good." she stopped rambling and blushed a bit.

"My ability is...going god I guess. I have good days and bad days. the bad days are the days where I can't control it at all, but I just keep focusing on the good, happy emotions and it seems to help." she said sighing slightly. "My mom still thinks I'm going crazy though, but she doesn't have to deal with it anymore." she shrugged as if to say so what.


"I want to be a dragon healer; or work with dragons. I just love everything about them. they're majestic but dangerous, beautiful yet disastrous." she mused, twinkling green eyes gazing off into space now.

Madame Kohan chuckled at Ariana's obvious excitement of one of the kittens coming to her. "That is perfectly fine by me. I can understand that Professor Brooks would have first choice. After all, she would be the perfect person to take care of the kitten."

As Ariana spoke about the treasure, Angela mused over this bit of information. Now there had to have been something that triggered this hunt for a treasure. It didn't sound as if it was a random tangent of some sort. "Digging holes in the castle?! My goodness, I certainly hope they were joking! The Headmistress would be most unpleased if they were to attempt such actions."

Relaxing slightly as Ariana spoke of her desire to learn to duel, Angela nodded slowly. "I can understand your frustration. It seems as though we never have time to do all that we wish. Perhaps you can speak with the DADA professor and see if he may offer some tips?"

"Ah, dear...you're certainly not going crazy. What you have is real, but unfortunately, there are some who will not believe. I do hope that the good days come more frequently, though."

At Ariana's revelation of wishing to work with dragons, Madame Kohan's eyes widened slightly. "Really? With dragons?" It was obvious that the girl really was interested in them; just by the way she spoke about the creatures. "That sounds like an interesting career indeed. I do wish you luck in that."

Classes had just ended for the day. Finding himself with a bit of spare time,
Ludo stepped into the Library entrance and found Madame Kohan's office.
He kocked a few times and waited for the librarian, hoping she had some time to chat.

Ari nodded, getting herself more comfortable as their discussion went on to a more enjoyable topic. "I'm used to my ability, I've grown to actually rely on it. I think it will help me with my career choice. No one knows a lot about dragons, and I think it would be cool if somehow I could, sense their emotions, feel what they feel. Better understand them you know?" She asked quirking an eyebrow and glancing at Kohan from under her lashes.

"But I need some help. And I'm afraid to ask any of the professors about it." she paused, waiting for the question she knew was to come. She hoped the librarian would help her; she had in the past. though this was much more difficult than researching remedies for her strange ability.

As she waited for her to answer, she bent down and picked up her bag, taking out a small purple teddy bear. It was still warm, which meant nothing serious was happening to anyone she knew. with a satisfied nod she set the bear back in her bag glancing at Kohan again.

Rian smiled as she walked in, seeing an older girl as well as the librarian. "Hi, Madame Kohan," she greeted happily.

Madame Kohan slowly nodded as Ariana spoke of her reasoning behind using her ability to help with the dragons. "Well, that is certainly wonderful, Ariana. Absolutely wonderful. Your gift would certainly be of great use to them. You could certainly be the greatest dragon healer." She pointed out with a grin. "I'm sure it'll all work out just fine for you."

And just as suddenly as the conversation had taken a light-hearted tone, it suddenly turned serious. Straightening up now, she leaned forward a bit. "What is it, dear?" She asked, glancing down in curiosity as the Ravenclaw removed something from her bag before replacing it.

Rising from her seat, she moved towards the door just as Rian opened it and walked in. "Hello, Rian...ah, Ludo, helo to you as well." She greeted, recognizing both students immediately.

"Do you two mind waiting for a few moments? I'll be right with you after I finish speaking to this student."

"I hope it does Madame." she replied nodding. "This is something I really want to do so I'm determined." she added with a wink.

Noticing the glance from Kohan as she placed the item back in her bag she explained, “This is a special device my mother created for me. There’s another one in the basket where ginger is kept. If this begins to vibrate then I know something is happening.” She said, “It was a birthday present from her.” She finished smiling a bit sadly.

Ariana smiled briefly, wandering how exactly to say what she wanted to say. “Um…” she stalled, looking around for any kind of distractions. Just then she heard another knock and jumped, not expecting it. Blushing a bit she threw a grin at Madame Kohan before glancing curiously at the door. This was a highly private topic she thought and kept quiet, thanking her lucky stars for the reprieve to think it out. Thinking she should act normal she did so, smiling warmly at the two students, hoping they wouldn't think she's weird.

Ludo stepped back as another girl joined him at the door. He smiled as the librarian opened the door. "Hey Madame Kohan."
He looked past her and saw another girl sitting in her office with a somewhat troubled look.

Madame Kohan kindly asked them to wait outside.
"Oh sure. Or I could come back some other time." he offered. He hadn't come by with a serious issue which seemed to be what the librarian was right in the middle of.

Rian nodded to Madame Kohan. "Of course." she let the boy that was there speak, then nodded again. "I could come back too, if that'll be better..." she trailed off and just stood quietly. Her matter wasn't important, she just wanted to chat with the librarian.

"Hello?" Fabian croaked knocking on Angela's door a few times before poking his head into her office. She wasn't there? but two students were. He smiled at them while murmuring a 'hello'. She was probably around here somewhere if her office door was open. He leaned by the door and took his queue, his eyes darting around curiously. This place was really busy.

Madame Kohan smiled once more. "I'm sure that with your determination, you'll be able to do anything. Just keep that goal in your mind, and you'll reach it in no time." She encouraged her.

As Ariana explained what she had taken from her bag, Angela listened with quiet curiosity. Well, that certainly was an interesting mechanism. "Goodness...that does sound...well, it's quite the way of communicating, I suppose." Did it only vibrate when bad things were happening? She wondered silently.

"Yes, please. Thank you both." She answered. "I'll certainly be available to speak with both of a you a little later." She did not enjoy turning students away from her door, but what Ariana had to say was undoubtedly rather private.

Dipping a hand into her robes, she retrieved a few pieces of candy, tossing them to Rian and Ludo. "For the road." She chuckled. "I'll see you two later."

Just as she was about to close the door again so that she and Ari could continue their conversation, another voice interrupted. However, this one belonged to someone she had been intending to speak to for some time.

"Fabian!" She exclaimed. "How...how are you?" With seeing him, she couldn't help but think back to Mac and Max's strange behavior in the staff room.

"Hello Angela!" Fabian smiled at the sight of Angela, "have had better days. How about you?" he lifted the book up and hugged it to his chest. "Is this is a bad time for you?"

Angela couldn't help but smile as Fabian's face lit up. Now that was the Fabian she missed. "I'm quite fine at the moment; very busy. It seems as though today is the day for visitors. You're my fourth one!" She explained.

As Fabian questioned her, Angela glanced back towards Ariana. "Actually...yes." She finally said before gazing back at Fabian. "I'm having a bit of a talk with a student...Would you care to take a walk through the library until I'm through? Or should I just come by your office to visit a bit later?" She certainly did wish to speak to him at length, but at current time, was unable to. Of course, she did not wish to keep him away from anything else he had to do.

Fidgeting still she finally took a deep breath and chuckled a bit before watching the two students leave. Just as she was about to ask Madame Kohan her question a professor walked in. Ari jumped up, knocking her bag onto the floor, wincing as it emitted a small squeak of protest. "Professor Clark!" she exclaimed as she picked up her bag quickly, her eyes going back and forth. As she listened to Kohan explain what was going on, Ari shook her head "No, it's okay Madame, really. You can have your talk with Professor Clark I under...understand." she stuttered a bit, trying to find a way out quietly. "We can finish later." she added, smiling.

"Fourth eh? Too bad I couldn't come earlier, I would have been the third charm" he winked at her before continuing, "Nay its fine. I need to look around the library for a few books. I'll be by the bookshelves when you get a moment" he smiled as he straightened up.

"Hello Ariana" he nodded at the Ravenclaw, "hope your mother's fairing well? Oh no please. Don't leave on my account" he waved a hand as he started moving. "I'll be by the bookshelves".

Madame Kohan waved a hand towards Ariana. "Oh, no dear. Please do stay. I want to finish our talk." She requested, giving the girl a warm smile. "Professor Clark can wait a few more moments until we finish. I'm sure he won't mind."

Chuckling as Fabian spoke of being third charm, Angela nodded once. "That sounds fine. I'll be by that way whenever I finish in here." Her gaze curiously passed over the book he held, but she said nothing. "Thank you." She added, smiling again at Fabian's accomodation as he insisted that Ariana stay.

Ariana nodded back and smiled kindly, "She's well professor. She's working at Gringotts Wizarding Bank now. It seems the Ministry didn't like her take on a few things." she explained before stopping herself from giggling, "Oh this will only take a moment I'm sure. If everything even works out." she said secretively, glancing at Kohan before turning her attention back to professor Clark. "It was good seeing you again Professor." she said, eyes glinting over slightly.

"Oh it's really no problem Madame. Actually, perhaps... no that wouldn't work..." she paused, frowning slightly. Realizing she was looking foolish she chuckled and shook her head, before tying her hair up and sighed, "Perhaps it would be best." she finally acquitted nodding.
