Hogwarts. Cully almost sighed in relief when she entered the common room to discover it was its original gold and black self. She stopped herself at the last moment; the sixth year decided against making herself seem like a fool and instead focused on stealing herself a chair near the windows instead, curling her legs up underneath her.

She didn't fancy going outside just yet; she'd had enough of that over the holidays. For now, she'd stay curled up in the common room, with her two of her cats around her feet, and a third curled up on her lap.

Stroking Charlie softly, she leant her head back and relaxed for what felt like the first time in forever. Her shoulders untensed and she swallowed carefully.
Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad after all.
