Moony's 'Furry Little Problem' Cressida, Will, Chandan, Draygon Candra's eyes widened involuntarily as her boss asked her whether she'd like to try out her suggestion.
Momentally unable to form long words, Candra stuttered her reply. "Y-yes, of course..."
Once again biting her lip in her anxiety, Candra slowly moved nearer to the table and fingered her wand thoughtfully. This... This will be tricky.
Candra carefully moved her wand tip to hover just above several large fragments of glass, and, taking a deep breath, flicked her wand upwards sharply.
Her non-verbal spell worked, and several of the major glass fragments hovered softly above the dustpan. Candra twisted her wand slightly, and the pieces slowly turned in mid-air, sand and miniature glass fragments falling gently back to the pile. Candra flicked her wand again, allowing the larger glass fragments to land softly in a separate pile.
Candra heaved a huge sigh of relief, knowing that this was only the easy part.
Glancing back for a split second, Candra proceeded to use the same tactic for the larger parts of wood, and that, proving successful like the larger glass fragments, left only the tiny fragments of glass and wood and sand.
Peering closer at the minuscule, shattered pieces once more, Candra moved a small section aside and tried her technique out on that. She managed the separate the generally visible wood and glass with some difficulty, but the tricky part was separating the almost-sawdust-like-pieces of wood and tiny, hand-splitting parts of glass from the delicate grains of sand.
Unsure whether to continue, or whether there was a better way, Candra hesitated and looked back at Meredith for a moment.
"Should I continue, uhm, sir...?" Candra paused at the last word, unsure whether this was what Meredith preferred to be addressed as. It's going to be tricky, and awfully risky if I continue in this method... But I'm pretty certain I'm doing it right... I'm pretty certain I can finish what I've started if I must!
