Syd turned and looked to the man that had entered his office. It was his missing judge. Normally, he'd show some displeasure at the lack of waiting, but Syd liked judges. He was a lawyer after all.
"Quite alright, McNeerly," Syd said, sitting back in his chair. "We all get trapped in things we don't want to do. I understand completely. Besides, we haven't apprehended anyone yet so we haven't gone to court yet."
