"I did?! I knew there was some reason I lived here.." Emmy responded in mock sarcasm, then added while fighting back laughter: "Ax! Now we sound like some cheesy cartoon family from TV!"
Her gaze never left him. She shrugged innocently at his question, as if to silently say she had no idea what he was talking about.
It took a moment, but she gave a small nod. "I think we have most of it inside. .but I'm not sure if we have any pear's." Pear's were Laih's absolute favorite fruit. The child would eat any fruit, and nearly any vegetable, Surprisingly. "Would you be suuuuch a sweetheart and possibly grab one or two for me?" Emmylyne asked, after having entwined their fingers together she continued to unconsciously play with Axel's hands in her own.
"Hmm?" Emmy tilted her head to the side abit, noting her husband's excitement, she smiled. "Oh! Ax, that's an absolute brilliant idea!" It was, too. A bonefire in the backyard on a summers night, on the first night with everyone back.
