Excelsior moved on to the next task, taking care of the abraxans. He knew how big and powerful they were, that he had to be very careful in handling them. He started with the single malt whisky. Carefully, he tilted the head of the giant creature back, holding the bottle in a way that it wouldn't injure it.
Cautiously, he moved behind the leg of the abraxan and began to clean its hooves. He made certain not to put himself in front of the creature, where it could kick him and possibly kill or injure him. Using the water and a cream, he continued to clean the animal. Finally, he gave it some more of the single malt liquor and fed it, then moved on to the next animal and completed the task exactly the same way.
The hinkypunks mystified him, but he knew they were trying to trick him to go further with their lights. He understood their lure, and he restrained himself and forced himself not to look at the lights. He summoned up a light of his own using "Lumos", concentrating all his attention on that light and away from the others and moved in the direction he knew was correct. They were distracting little creatures!
