"You all have misunderstood my question. Why are the ingredients, using the information you have already given me, used in this specific potion?. There are reasons," Hepzibah smiled. "This lesson is running a bit long so I will answer for you. Caterpillars are used as it represents the thing lost. Something lost is hard to find as is something as small as a caterpillar."
"Hellebore is poisonous and this is to actually posion the potion slightly. If you use the potion to much you will soon die. The effects of the poison build up and up. It is more a security feature if anything and the ginger roots were used simply for flavour."
Hepzibah rose from her seat and finished her tea. "Now I have had amazing fun with you lot and I hope you all learned something and enjoyed the introduction to foreign potion making. You all are dismissed!" |
