Chapter 40:Reunited-Part Two
Ginny wiped away her tears, but they continued to fall for she was so happy to see her parents again. She was beginning to think that would never happen again. “We’re happy to see you too Hermione.” Mr. Weasley said. “We love you Hermione. You’re like another daughter to us.” Mrs. Weasley said as she pulled Hermione in for a loving hug. Mr. Weasley joined in on the hug, then pretty soon so did Ron, Ginny, Draco, and Harry. “It’s like a real family.” Draco said. “It is a real family. And pretty soon we’re going to make it official.” Ginny whispered into Draco’s ear. Draco flashed a brilliant smile at the thought of being part of a real family and having Ginny as his lovely bride. “Not that I don’t want to spend as much time as possible with you guys, but I think we have some work to do, starting with getting back to the school and dealing with those two filths over there.” Harry said as he looked at Wormtail’s petrified body and Snape’s dead one. “He’s right, we best get moving.” Lupin said as he helped Dumbledore off of the ground. “You continue to help Albus, and I’ll handle Snape’s body.” Professor McGonagall said as she took out her wand and performed the spell necessary for floating Snape’s body in the air. “What should we do about this scum?” Harry asked as he looked in disgust at the man who betrayed his parents. “I trust you can handle this Ron.” Dumbledore said as he slowly walked along side of Lupin. Ron looked both shocked and bewildered. “Me…are you sure Sir?” Ron asked unsure. “Yes, you are very capable. Also I am certain Mr. Malfoy and Mr. Potter would like to care for the women they love.” Dumbledore said as he gave a little wink to Harry and Draco. Ron looked as though he was thinking why didn’t he get that. “Thanks Sir.” Harry said. Draco nodded in agreement. Nevertheless Ron was still happy to do a sort of mission. He too performed the levitating spell on Wormtail’s petrified body. It didn’t take as long as they thought it would to get to the castle (even though the castle wasn’t too far away), Dumbledore showed some remarkable strength as he made his way to the school. He never once complained about his bleeding or pain. Once those beautiful Oak front doors were opened, both Ginny and Hermione felt as they did the first day they stepped inside this historical building, at peace and very happy to be back where they belonged. Lupin took Dumbledore to the Hospital Wing and Professor McGonagall took care of Pettigrew. All who was left was the girls, boys, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. “I don’t want to leave you Gin, I just got you back.” Mrs. Weasley said as she broke into tears. “Oh mum.” Ginny said as she comforted her mother. “You can’t stay here. You and Dad have lives and jobs to get back to.” Ginny replied. “I know how much you love me. I love you too, but I’ll be alright.” Ginny said as she pulled back her mother to look into her continuing tearing eyes. “I know I can trust you to take care of my little girl.” Mr. Weasley told Draco as he had his hand out for Draco to shake. “Thank you Sir. I will take good care of her, and that’s a promise.” Draco said as he shook Mr. Weasley’s hand. “Well, we should get going then.” Mr. Weasley said. “Come here you two.” Mrs. Weasley told Ginny and Hermione. They hugged each other fiercely and Mrs. Weasley almost didn’t let go of her daughter. Ron had to pry her out of his sister’s grip. Mrs. Weasley blew a few kisses to each of them (even Draco!) before leaving with her husband. The guys knew that the girls must be starving, so they took them to the Elves quarters in the kitchen and they were treated to a feast. Even Hermione didn’t seem to mind the Elves weighing on her hand and foot (This time). After they were all stuffed, they went back up to their common room. Even though the girls were exhausted beyond belief, they still wanted to be with their loved ones. Ron took Harry’s nudge on the arm as a hint to leave and give them some time alone with their girlfriends. Ron gave his little sister a sweet hug and Hermione a great big hug. Then he left them all alone, and they enjoyed their alone time together. Harry didn’t even need to make out with Hermione right now, it was just really wonderful to hold hands and sit by the fire. Draco and Ginny were laying down on a very long sofa, just relaxing staring up at the red ceiling. Ginny had her arms wrapped around Draco’s nice body (*wink wink*) and Draco was stroking her firey red hair. After only a few minutes, Ginny fell asleep in Draco’s arms. Draco carefully picked her up and carried her off to bed. (Of course Hermione had to let him into the dorm because boys weren’t allowed entry). Ginny was in a very deep sleep and didn’t even stir while being put into bed. Draco put the blankets on her and looked at her gorgeous face for a moment. “How did I ever get so lucky to have you love me? I love you.” Draco whispered and then bent down to gently kiss Ginny on the forehead. Then he quietly left and went to sleep himself. “Do you have any idea how much I love you?” Harry asked Hermione. Hermione smiled and said “I have a good idea, I love you just as much.” Then she sweetly kissed him on his tender lips. “We both have had a crazy day. Let’s go and get a goodnights sleep so that I can be refreshed in the morning to see your beautiful face.” Harry said as he got up to his feet and held out his hand for Hermione to grab. She smiled and placed her hands into Harry’s warm, loving ones. She gave him a kiss goodnight and was so happy to be in his arms again. She sighed and said “Goodnight.” “I can’t wait to see you in the morning.” Harry replied after not being able to see her for several days. “Me either.” She said with an unforgettable smile on her face. Then they finally went to bed, and had sweet dreams about one another.
Sorry it took so long to get you guys this chapter. I do hope u like it. I begged my bro and he put the computer on for me. Yay! lol
