Turning a weird expression to her as she excused herself, Evan glanced at his book minutely, then shrugged her quick -and rather uneasy- line, with a wave. "You've nothing to be sorry for. I was just fake-reading." On noticing her bemused look, he furthered. "Best way I've found to be able to gather my thoughts. Plus it makes one look so interesting, eh?" Evan smiled, expecting a biting remark of Tina's.
