What I saw:
When the plant is treated poorly, it will shrink or turn pale, but when the right mix of light, water, and soil is found, it turns a healthy deep purple.
What I did:
Gave it plenty of soil, Added too much light, Added water, tinkered with the amount of each of those three.
How the plant reacted:
It turned a little purple when I buried its roots in soil, but looked somewhat droopy
The excess amount of light made it shrivel
The water saved it and made most of it purple, but the contrast between large amounts of light then water left it with green polka dots. Then the small adjustments changed the polka dots blue, much closer to the purple color of the rest of the plant
