Jenna listened to the Professor's instructions. When he finished, she turned to Athena.

"Well, nevermind I guess!" She gathered her things. "Sorry. Hope to see you around again!" She waved and walked back to her desk where a small box had been placed. Jenna pondered what to try and vanish first, and decided parchment would be the best choice again.

"Okay." She decided to try this spell verbally. Professor McAiken said it was more difficult to vanish through a solid object. She concentrated on the parchment before turning to the box. To help even further, she tried to picture the inside of the box.

"Evanesco!" She watched as the parchment tore itself in two. One hald dissappeared and the other remained. She opened the box. There was the ripped half. With a flick of her wand, the parchment repaired itself, and floated back onto the desk. Concentrate..concentrate..

"Evanesco!" This time, she forced all her thoughts on picutring the parchment appearing in the box. She waited a moment. Suddenly, there was a pop and the parchment vanished. She quickly opened the box and, to her great surprise, there was the parchment. She smiled and tried again. This time, the piece vanished even faster.

"I'll try non-verbally this time." She murmered to herself. After saying the incantation silently, the parchment repeated it's very first attempt, and ripped itself in half. Sighing, Jenna repaired the parchment and continued working on her non-verbal attempts.
