OOC: I'll be away for the weekend, so if you need to move along in the plot/story, please feel free to bring Nik along. I don't want to slow things down any by my absence.

Nik's hand rested over Marcella's that was resting against his shoulder and he squeezed lightly. "You're right. Not everyone reacts the same way to things and competition does suck because it makes people do stupid things and really... the only person one should compete with is oneself."

He grinned widely at her agreement that they were equal, his hazel eyes taking on a deep sparkle. With a laugh, he echoed her comment. "Who cares."
