Cat beamed when her (yes, best) friend sat next to her. She expected nothing less at this point, to be honest, and Marina’s presence actually brought her some sense of normality, if absolute chaos could be considered normal.
Alas. “A mummy??” she repeated in a hoarse whisper. Marina had to be joking. Although, she probably wasn’t. Cat’s dad had told her that anything was possible now. Basically. “I guess that would be historical.” So, on topic, maybe?
She eyed the object under the sheet skeptically.
Luckily, Professor Amstern started class and pulled Cat from her thoughts. General questions were good, because it (usually) meant that Cat could remember reading something about the topic. Although this one… she was drawing a bit of a blank. Still, she raised her hand. “Hogsmeade is the village near Hogwarts where the Hogwarts Express comes into.” She said it with confidence, but that was quite literally all the knowledge she had on the subject. Clearly, she needed to do more studying to do.
