Young Dio wouldn't have thought such an adventure would come full circle for him in this moment. Potter's cottage was easy to remember. The ruined state and how close it was to Bagshot's museum. Destination, Deliberation, and Determination. Dio's mind was perfectly clear and sound, as any signs of nervousness were left behind at the Butterbeer cart. CRACK
The soft sound that sounded like a fortune cookie opening came with Dionysus as he arrived. He sighed after seeing the familiar ruined state of the two-story Potter cottage. Before he could take in the further nostalgia and grim feeling, he mentally checked himself, no pain, no weird feeling. And most importantly, he had all his clothes and body parts attached.
This time Dio was able to find the examiner as he looked in their direction for the next step and confirmation. Beitris turned from her position beneath the bowed limbs of an old ash tree across the street from the cottage, where the shadows fell long and discreet. It was a spot she'd chosen intentionally: out of direct view of the main foot traffic, shielded from Muggles who could have potentially been passing by.
The air popped a few paces away. She watched as Dionysus fully appeared. No staggering arrival, no misplaced limbs. Just a sharp crack and a young man standing as though he'd always belonged there. Excellent, she thought as her quill scraped against parchment once again.
A few moments later, she tucked the parchment neatly beneath her right arm and approached the young man with calm, calculated steps. The ruins loomed beyond the hedgerow, solemn and still, but she paid them no more mind than she would the crooked lamppost nearby. Sentiment had its place, but not today.
"One final task remains: Side-Along Apparition," Beitris said, her tone neither warm nor cold but firm, measured. Her eyes met his directly, and for a brief moment, there was something almost challenging in her gaze. "Some find this part more difficult than all the rest." It certainly was a riskier endeavour.
She extended her left arm—not hesitantly, but with formality, as if offering a hand to a duel. "You may take hold of my arm. When you are ready, I'd like for you to take us both back to the Ministry. Specifically, we should return inside the hoop you were standing in at the start of the practical examination." OOC: Feel free to make a post here with your character departing with Beitris via Side-Along Apparition and proceed to the Apparition Test Centre.
