Brief History / Additional Context
Alfie grew up in a loving home, with two parents who love each other very much and a big sister who he adores. His parents have a lot of friends in their lives and as a result, Alfie is surrounded by their love too. From a young age, it was clear that Alfie was nothing like his sister, Amelia. Where Mia is adventurous, self-assured, and impatient, Alfie is reserved, quiet, and forbearing. Despite this, he looks up to Mia, thinking her to be the coolest, and most amazing person he knows. Mia likes Alfie now, but it took a long time to warm up to him. Thankfully, Alfie was never bothered by it. He followed Mia around no matter her protests. Growing up, Alfie didn't talk much; he was almost entirely nonverbal until age 6. After attending school at St. Woboldo's he began to speak more, albeit, rarely. His father, Zander, teaches years 1-3 at the school, and this mortified Alfie, who hates drawing attention to himself. Unfortunately for Alfie, Zander is (often unintentionally) a very embarrassing dad and loved having his kids as students (sorry, bud!).

Like his father, Alfie is empathetic and attuned to the needs of others. Like his mother, Alfie looks at the world with bright, curious eyes and a readiness to learn. Like his sister, Alfie is curious and creative. However, where the rest of his family can easily befriend others and rally a crowd, Alfie is much more reserved, much less inclined to speak, and far more likely to indulge in his own company rather than seeking out the company of others. Even still, he is incredibly well-natured and has a fairly optimistic outlook on life.
