He claimed to have worked in construction until Ean first showed signs of magical ability. His parents then separated over the revelation, which led his dad to raise him alone in Scotland until he received his acceptance letter from Hogwarts. Eventually, Ean's parents reconciled by his third year and his relationship with his mother mended throughout the years. After Hogwarts, he focused on Healer studies at the Wizarding Unversity in Ethiopia, then worked at the Ministry for several years. He created a loving household with his then-partner, Beatrice, and best friend Firash. To be closer to family, they moved back to Scotland, and he returned to Hogwarts as part of the staff.
