 Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?
Ash relaxed a little when the flower was on the page and she could see how it looked. She wasn't sure she'd seen a Himalayan poppy before, but it was a beautiful flower. She waited quietly as Ignacio adjusted it, not breathing or moving much so that he couldn't be distracted from his work on the present. When he finished, she looked over and offered a very approving "ooh." She didn't regret her advice at all! And she thought his placement was great. "That's a really cute picture of you and Nerina. You're making this for her, right?" Her heart felt funny at that. She wished someone would make her thoughtful scrapbooks... but she was really happy for Ignacio and Nerina. What they had was sweet. And Ashley was sure she'd never find something like that in the future. |
