~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Claudine fully expected responses and more input from Atlas. All she got was a whole lot of… nothing. Well, that was fine with her. He didn’t seem to like her very much and Claudine did not care one bit. All she wanted to do now that Hernandez had addressed their previous responses and questions was to get to the brewing aspect. She polished off writing her notes with a flourish, and sneakily looked around at Atlas. A part of her wanted to thank him for his input earlier. The Snakette shuffled with her textbook debating on doing just that but before she knew it, Atlas was mumbling and was off. Oh well. “See you.” Boy, she was not as comfortable with him as she was with the handful of her friends.
Back in her own company again, Claudine settled in to read the instructions and to make the comparison between Hernandez’s modified potion and the one in the textbook. The differences were easy enough to spot; there was still a bit of regret that they could not brew the actual potion. What a challenge that would have been.
With the reading out of the way, the seventh year got to her feet. Those ingredients would not gather themselves. |
