Minjae had been lying upside down on one of the couches near the sealed up fire place, his head touching the floor and his legs hanging over the couch while he watched Mamie practice her magic upside down. For a second, the seventh year thought about non-verbally pushing the feather so that it looked like the young Hufflepuff had done it but he decided against it. It was better for her to practice, practice and practice than give her a false sense of improvement. His brown eyes looked at Gemma as she entered the room and he vaguely wondered how her mother was. Now that he thought about it, he hadn’t really seen her snapping about this year.

He still hadn’t said anything, just wanted to observe the room for a moment. He was going to leave this common room after this year was over.
