Yes. Claudine sure felt it but after three years of the Castle {one couldn’t count her first year since they had all temporarily relocated to Beauxbatons} she was quite used to the chilliness of the dungeons. She also felt the many pairs of eyes which belonged to the portraits upon her. Some of those portraits could be quite rude but none of their comments ever bothered her, good or bad. The Slytherin supposed that she never felt the brunt of their words as much because of her blood status.
Oddly enough, Claudine never spent time to really examine the portraits, having just walked past them with a glance. She came to a halt in her tracks now - were these few in this particular corner of the wall always covered in cobwebs? |
