The only downside to getting a great job in a great place is having your distant cousin be with you in the same body--no, the same bloody department. He literally could see him every day if this rotation room wasn't so well, uhh, crafted to scatter everyone in their own bubble of mystery.
He didn't really have any pressing issues at work yet during those first few weeks, so he took to venturing around and exploring other rooms. The ones he knew of and assumed he wouldn't be sacked off the bat if he entered. This made the Hall of Prophecy the first destination of today's venturing. Luther stepped into the door to what could be described as the inner space of a dragon egg. He aimlessly walked in the chamber with the egg offices, laying eyes on a lady behind her desk. "Hello, good morning, I'm sorry is this the Hall of Prophecy?" It definitely didn't look like one yet. Who wasted time on predicting how many grindylows they’d fish out of a particular lake in a month? Laurel shook her head in disgust, discarding the prophecy in the silly pile and leaned back in her chair to relax her eyes for a moment or two. It helped against the dizzyspells she got now and then with her current blessed condition. She was tempted to take a little nap and not tell Airey about it, when she was disturbed by the voice of a man. Oh right, her 9 o’clock appointment by the name of Luke something was here bright and early just as predicted.
Opening her sea blue eyes to look up at him with a professional smile pursing her lips, she clasped her hands together with excitement forgetting that she was a little dizzy and in need desperate need of her one cup of coffee. "A very good morning to you too, are you well versed in interpreting the truth your Inner Eye shares with you?" Laurel wondered. "Or do you still find it a bit scary and embarrassing to believe in what your Eye shows you will happen?" It was asked with curiosity as much as a test of the man's abilities. Laurel had met too many hoaxes that just with dumb luck managed to predict things without really having an inner eye.
