The goblin, reached for the notebook, but while he didn't guard it like a well kept secret, he didn't make it easily seen either. This was the sort of information he didn't need getting out.

"Not what I'd like to see. We," He looked to Felnott again, "may need to do something about this. Increase the margins if you will." Surely he was catching his drift.

Increase the margins, Jack noted. Well, he had a few ideas about how to do that. One of which was tucked away safely in a pocket on his vest thanks to an undetectable extension charm.
SPOILER!!: Felnott the goblin

Felnott nodded in agreement. He adjusted some numbers in the notebook and placed the bag of money he had on him on the table. "Were these more the numbers you were looking for?"

As a bank goblin, numbers came easily. He had a good sense for what it took to get more. He also knew the best strings to pull to turn the best profit.

Jack nearly drooled at the site of the big bag of money that the one goblin tossed on the table, but he covered up his eagerness by taking a big swig out of his gross warm beer. Despite all of his own reservations and know-how about dealing with goblins, Jack found himself wondering if these two were perhaps the best course of action for implementing his plan. His big plan to make lots of money.

He just needed to bide his time until they were dune with their current business.
