| astronomizzle ♧ gryffinDORK | & the rest is drag ♣ #badluckDerf There was relief when he was allowed to pass through the door, though he was also not surprised in the least. It had been, to him, the most obvious of answers. Though as he stepped into the next room and peered at the next question there - how many of these would there be? - he found himself scratching the back of his neck in more than just confusion. In fact, he was even leaving scratch marks from his dirty fingernails his movements were so rigorous.
There was...more than one answer he wanted to tap with his wand here. And the polyjuice mention was more than triggering. The first option, if the rumors were true, was incredibly upsetting for reasons far beyond breaching of the Statute. The second, and of a like mind to one Chloe Kettleburn, sounded very much like something he would have written himself. In fact, he could hear the voice of Levi Kenning ringing in his ears once more and it brought an odd sense of comfort to him. The third option was an easy no...as was the fourth one. Which, again, made the events of last term all the more frustrating. And then there was the final option. Knowing that polyjuice was a controlled substance and one with very serious consequences from the Ministry...well...it made sense that one would need their approval, you know? And, well, if it were a dire undercover operation he reckoned that consent or something wouldn't matter so much?
Maybe he was over thinking this.
Ultimately, Derf went with the one that felt the most right to him. The one he wanted to be true...even if perhaps it wasn't. Thus, with his wand, he tapped the answer about consent.
