She had been taking notes in her notebook while trying to formulate an answer that hadn't been voiced already (but honestly she was discovering that she didn't really know much about the sun). The sun provides Vitamin D, which is something that we all need to function at high capacity. So, when we go soak in the sun, we consequently are able to get tan. Or sunburned."

Was she done? No. "Furthermore, the sun provides heat to the earth. Without it, we would freeze to death." To say the least.
