Benzi paused, and looked around the room as if an Auror present could save him from his own choices. "Busy, as usual, you know how it is," eventually he replied, managing a smile as he sipped from his coffee, plucking the cup from midair. Far too busy, in fact, to have time for small talk.
But then again, he was all out of ideas. Maybe a weird, small talking talk with the head of security would get those creative juices flowing again. He needed to lay a magical bear trap for his guy, and perhaps Bennett was his ticket do doing that. ... Absurdly enough, Benzi's first thought was his daughter's dance recital.
Another urgent note to self: criminals and Emma should never belong in the same train of thought. Do better.
