Herbology assignment


I found making my own soap, towel, and face mask to be a fun assignment. I liked being able to pick out my own oils for the soap and making it smell just like I want. I chose lime and coconut because it reminds me of summer and the beach. My soap was nice and it worked well. I think I might add more lime or even some lime zest next time.

My face mask was very easy to make and I got to use items from breakfast to make it. The avocado and yogurt made my face very soft, but it turned a gross brown color because I didn’t use it right after I made it. Next time I’ll make it right before wanting to use it so it doesn’t look so gross. I might even add honey next time because honey can help keep your skin pimple free and no one has time for pimples.

The towel was much trickier. I don’t know if I chose the wrong material, or if I didn’t do the spell correctly, but the bamboo didn’t get super soft. My towel worked fine as a hand towel, but it was scratchy on my face. I don’t like scratchy towels for my face. I would like to try and make a towel again using a different material to see if it is softer.
