Even if there wasn't always a lot of spellwork associated with the subject, Arithmancy was a class that Henry thought was alright. Even if it wasn't math like he learned in muggle elementary school, numbers generally came fairly easy to him. Curse breaking actually sounded pretty awesome, but he was rather disappointed when the professor said that they wouldn't be talking about that today because of the poltergeists. Even if they seemed to be more of a presence than usual, he didn't know why they would change the planned class topic.
So they were going to do a review instead? That wasn't nearly as exciting. It was his second year taking Arithmancy, but even for those who just started taking it this year, they had been in school for three months now. Hopefully everyone in the class knew what Arithmancy was by now.
It was a basic answer and he didn't have more to contribute other than what was already said by his classmates, so he took to doodling numbers in different font styles on the edge of the parchment. Hopefully he could be more engaged with the next question.
