So he got it, though he still hadn't noticed much difference in the ice cream place, but truthfully unless it was the ice cream he was looking at he really didn't pay attention.

"I do like stories though if you wanted to get ice cream and tell me." He was always up for stories, stories he enjoyed. "Hads is cool. Most people call me Benny." He didn't mind if she wanted to call him that too. Maybe they would become friend. He enjoyed getting new friends. [b} Oh Uncle Julien is a Ravenclaw. Most of my family is there actually. Though My cousin and brother went Gryffindor and I went Hufflepuff. I'm the only one to go Hufflepuff."[/b] He was kind of proud to be the only Primeaux male puff. It was awesome.

'He's kind of crazy actually, but fun. He had skittles in our common room, but that wasn't as cool as the bubbles I filled the common room with. Rain and I did it. It was fun and everyone seemed to enjoy it." Using his uncles lesson for their own purpose was great. "You could always come over during a family event if you wanted then you would see." He opened the door maybe to have them go in and get ice cream. "What is it like to have Mr. Kitridge as your Head of House?"

A small wave of relief washed through Hadley. Oh good, Benton understood and didn't think she was being silly. She relaxed a bit, and listened thoughtfully to his story. "Sounds like it hurt. Running into the furniture like that." She'd done that more than she was willing to admit, so yeah, total sympathy her.

"Yeah, okay." Hadley started toward the ice cream bar. She glanced back at Benny, debating on whether to tell him or not and sighed. "I was kinda the odd girl out growing up. Because of the freakish things that happened around me," she added quickly. "I did a lot of uncontrolled magic growing up, but of course being muggleborn, we didn't know that was what it was. Anyway, we moved to Britain, and I met Rachel, my first real friend in the old place." There it was. Not a very interesting story, and kind of embarrassing, but that was why the place was so sentimental to her. It was the first time she felt truly accepted by someone her own age.

"Benny. Cool." Hadley held up her hand to give him a high five: her traditional version of a handshake. Hads grinned. "I'm not at all surprised Primeaux was a Ravenclaw." He was all about the rules, and structure and learning. Most of all he was about learning. She wondered briefly if he would be their new Head of House, since the man was pretty much Ravenclaw incarnate. "I probably would have fit in better in Gryffindor, to be honest, but I'm starting to see how I fit into Ravenclaw." She was, slowly. Though she was sure she'd always feel like more of a Gryffindor than a Ravenclaw, she was warming up to Ravenclaw and her place in it.

"That sounds amazing, actually. I'd love to have Myers as a Head of House." Skittles and filling the common room with bubbles, and things like that sounded perfect to her. "I..." she paused, thinking about the invite for a minute. "I'd love that actually." Seeing Primeaux outside of the school environment was something she simply couldn't pass up. If the offer was sincere that was. If not, she understood. Family events were usually for family so...

"Kitridge?" She thought about that a moment too. "He was good. A lot like your uncle actually. Rules were important and he really truly cared about us. We butted heads a lot though, because, well, rules aren't really my thing. And he wrote about me in the yearbook my first term. I apparently was the biggest challenge of the term for him." She shrugged. "He was a good Head of House though. It's gonna be weird without him next term." But she got it. If she had kids too, she'd want to spend her time with them, and not be away at school all the time.
