Spotting Kat, Paige hurried over to her with a wave. "Hey," she greeted with a smile. "I hope you weren't waiting long. The floo at daddy's house has been malfunctioning a bit and it took a couple tries to get it working properly." Which not only explained why she was late by a few minutes but also the lingering bits of cinder and ash in her hair she had picked up while tumbling out of the fireplaces at the Leaky Cauldron.
The thing about Katerina was that she mostly had guy friends, which yes that was cool not having the girl drama as much because yes guys did have there own drama. So getting on well with other girls was a relief there was just somethings Kat didn't want to share with the guys. Kat pretty much adored Paige, and being older to was nice have her around of she ever needed her. Plus Kat loved her ways with words and her advice
In fact her advice for her Brady problem was working perfectly, the terrible they had during term seemed to be over. For now anyway. The third year beamed when she seen Paige. She waved off the lateness excuse. Kat noted the extra bits of ash.
"Don't worry, I just got here a few minutes ago." Just enough time to start deciding on what ice cream she was going to order. She smiled again.
'How is the internship going? How about summer?"
