Plus he took me in pyramids the rest of our families wouldn't go in." He didn't mind his uncle like so many others and even Torrance did.

Hadely sighed and shifted her weight. "I guess. No, I know." Change was inevitable. And usually it didn't bother her much. But..."Sorry," she said again. Hads knew how she must seem. But...how to explain this reasonably without embarrassing herself more. "The old place was just kinda special to me. It's a long story." She shook her head again. "I'm being silly."

Hadley shrugged it off, and grinned. "Hadley. Or Hads if you prefer." She made her way in deeper to the store, out of the way of the door so that others might be able to get through as well. Besides, the renovation didn't change the reason she came here. Ice cream. "I'm in Ravenclaw," she added as an afterthought. "What's it like having Professor Myers as your head of house?" She imagined it was fun, funny and anything but boring.

Hads raised an eyebrow at that. Strict but caring was the most accurate way to describe Primeaux. She knew that first hand. But...having a fun side? Going down water slides? The pyramid she believe, and imagined him turning it into an educational experience as well. But the water slide? Nope. She couldn't picture it. "I think I'd pay to see that actually."
