Even with all the extra help select students had offered, there was always something to do. Always seemed to be something that needed attending to. Whether the Hippogriffs were low on water or the crups wanted to go on a walk... Always something.

And seeing as it was just past lunch, it was feeding time for the Hippogriffs. Which is exactly why James had walked into the barn with a bag full of meat. They were getting a special treat today because he was feeling particularly generous.

Though he found himself stopping upon a curious sight as he opened the barn door. A pogo stick. No wait, it was a girl. A human pogo stick in the form of an overly enthusiastic child. Was it too late to head back to his office? Yeah, probably. But he couldn't remember her name. So.... He only gave her a small nod in acknowledgment. Maybe she'd remind him. And if not, maybe she'd just get freaked out and leave. Both nice options.
