| Otter This World ♡ Catpurrccino ♡ Slotherin ♡ Pandamonium SPOILER!!: Ansley
It was good to know that Hadleigh had some art interest despite the fact that opportunities were limited here. And the fact that she did some on her own was encouraging. "Well, the more you practice at it, the better you will get." He supposed that could apply to anything, but he noticed that people sometimes thought that if they were not immediately good at art, then they just weren't good at it. Just like anything else, it took practice.
"Well, technically it's a portrait of that person, whether they had been painted while still living or after they've passed," he tried to explain. "It becomes a little more difficult to infuse the memories and personality after they've died, though it can still be magically done. It's just more of a facsimile than the true thing." Did that make more sense? He knew it was hard to completely understand.
He gave her a small smile as she agreed. "Mondays work just fine for me. You can leave the weekend for yourself if you'd like. Why don't we start this Monday after dinner, about seven?" It would be a good start at least.
Practice makes perfect. A rule she had grown used to hearing many years ago when she was still a small child. It worked in nearly any situation like dancing, playing the guitar and drums and even when learning to cast a patronus. The more you tried the better you become. "I'll keep at it just like I do everything else." No worries there.
Going over what Ansley had just said to her in her mind a few times it did make sense. Even if it would be tougher to accomplish that didn't at all mean she would give it, it just meant she would try all that much more harder. When she wanted something bad enough Hady would make it happen. "Oh, well I suppose that makes sense."
Mondays. Check. Seven O'clock after dinner. Check. She would be there. "That sounds great Sir, thank you," she answered with a small smile.
