Post 2 - Poisoned Brewer Fluttery Pegasi She had finally zeroed in on the mortar, and was pounding the bezoar to dust by only holding the pestle about 3 inches away from the mortar. It was the highest she could hold the pestle while maintaining a more consistent accuracy. The problem was, in her weakened state and the the fact that 3 inches wasn't much leverage, it was taking forever to crush the bezoar.
That and the fact that every time she hit the bezoar and mortar with the pestle, it sent vibrations ricocheting around in her skull like a jackhammer. POUND POUND POUND POUND! The bezoar still wasn't a completely crushed let alone a fine powder. POUND POUND POUND POUND! Like echo-y daggers... attached to sledgehammers in her head...
Haddie winced and felt herself tip slightly backwards, staggering a little to keep from falling over. POUND POUND POUND POUND! Now it looked even less crushed!! Forget this. It's good enough. She couldn't take the crushing anymore. It hurt her more than the stupid bezoar.
Four medium grain, slightly chunky measures of bezoar were tossed haphazardly into the slightly melted cauldron of hers.
