“But still...what?” Jace asked, his curiosity getting the best of him. Azura’s plight was an interesting one really. There’s just so much love coming out from her. “Are you sure that you’re just thankful that he found the perfect place for you to practice...or is it something else?” Like...a crush? Obviously, Jace was oblivious to that kind of feeling. He simply sees girls as...friends that belonged to the opposite gender. It was no big deal for the eleven year old. What was important to him was that, he got to make friends from both sides. However, as Azura mentioned the boy’s name, Jace blinked at her. Of course he knows that name. He’s a fellow first year Ravenclaw after all! They both share the same dorm. “You know what they say about our school. It’s one of the best in Europe so it’s natural that we’re piled up with a lot of coursework. I’m sure Jasper’s just catching up with school work right now, or trying to get ahead with the lessons. We’re Ravenclaws after all.” Jace grinned at Azura, trying to assure her that she shouldn’t be worried. “That could be a problem though, the missing part?” Jace said looking out the balcony. “But...think about the next time you’ll meet him. He’ll be happy to see you.” Jace nodded, trying to tell Azura that she shouldn’t be too negative about things. That’s just going to make her feel negative all the time.
“Petrichor.” Jace nodded. “Now you know.” He grinned, nudging Azura ever so gently. "The rain here is definitely different from Japan's. Ours are pretty strong between May and September of each year." However, Jace’s mind wandered though, when she mentioned the names of their friends. “I’m sure you know about the lost doll being kept by Rachel...” Because from what he heard, the doll’s in their dorm right now. “Any thoughts about it?” Because Jace can’t help but get curious about it too.
Azura nodded softly as she glanced over at Jace, they would have to take it one day at a time and be patient..Still, she would be there for him if he wanted. Her purple eyes softened a little bit as he spoke about having a good cry..
"Mmm, It actually really helps, I would recommend the towers, or the common room in the middle of the night, no one is there, and if you curl up by the fire.. It's a good place and time to cry." She should know.. she had done it several times.
Azura's purple eyes went wide as Jace spoke and the nearly twelve year old blinked a little at him, her hand moving to stroke her hair as she stared at him for a moment..
Something.. else?" Something else like what?? She couldn't.. like him! No!!
NO!! It just wasn't possible.. It was just the Fwoopers playing with her mind right?
"It can't be something else, I miss you when I don't see you, and Garreth and Austin and Brady and Colt.." Ohhh those were all boys! That didn't help her cause..
"And Esme and Rachel.." There..
No.. It just.. couldn't be possible.. Because what if she never saw him again? What if he decided he missed Australia too much and had to go home? Then it would hurt if she had a crush on him.. and she didn't want to deal with that.
Instead she turned to Jace and listened as he spoke.
"Of course.. I'm sure that's it." She said with a warm nod as she looked over at her friend.
"It could be.. but I'm not going to make it a problem." She said softly as she looked back out at the view.. attempting to get a hold of herself.. Before she nodded.
"It will be great to see him again and I'm sure he will be happy to see me." She turned to smile at Jace softly..
"Thank you, for talking to me." She grinned at him before laughing ever so slightly..
"Petrichor.. The smell of the rain.. Now I know." She grinned at him as he nudged her and she nudged him back a bit herself before turning back to look at the view.
"Ahh, well.. We get winter rains, not summer ones.. which is different again isn't it?" She said as she turned and raised and eyebrow at him only to make a bit of a face..
"Actually, she lost it.. I was with her when it disappeared.. it's so weird, it's like it got up and walked right out of the common room." She shuddered a bit.. So weird!
