Carrying his guitar, Jasper was searching for a quiet place where he'd be able to practice a little bit away from other people. Most of the areas around the school were buzzing with life.

Finding the balcony wasn't something that he expected. But it was beautiful. He'd have to think about returning with his sketchbook some other time. For now though, he sat himself on the ground, starting to play a song on his guitar. Jasper wasn't entirely sure of what he was playing, going from one song to the next without putting much thought into it.

All he wanted to do was relax. And this was perfect for that.

It taken Azura some time to find the 4th floor balcony that Jasper had talked about, when she did... she slowly emerged into the sunlight with a gasp!

Flying Fwoopers this place was amazing! She would have to make sure she came here with Jasper one day! Though today her friend was no where to be seen.

She sighed softly as she leaned against the railing and looked out on the view. It was so calm and peaceful..She could almost hear new melodies come into her head and she wished she had her notebook with her..She really needed to get working on her song!

She closed her eyes, letting the sun's warmth soothe her anxious nerves as she stood there.

Jace found himself spending most of his time at the Room of Requirement, getting his much needed practise in Kendo, as well as meditating through Japanese Archery—Kyudo. It was true what they say about Hogwarts keeping its students on their toes, especially in lessons. Jace had to exert effort to stay on top of his lessons and homeworks.

Moments ago, he went down from the Room of Requirement to get himself a bottle of cold water from the Kitchens. Still in his practice uniform, Jace took the time to climb the stairs, and pass through the hallways to do a bit of exploring, before heading back to the RoR to continue his meditation. A familiar form caught his eyes, and Jace did not hesitate to approach her.

Stealthily, Jace stood beside her, and allowed his arms to dangle off from the balcony’s ledge, and propped his chin on the stone rail. The grounds before them looked peaceful, and Jace wished he could practise archery in the open field. He used to do that all the time in Japan with his grandfather.

Azura still had her eyes closed as she sensed someone come up next to her.. Whoever it was, didn't say a word and so she opened her eyes and turned her head to the side.. a smile came over her face as she saw who it was..

She stood there for a moment, watching him as he looked out onto the grounds before deciding to speak and break the silence between them. "Hey Jace, how's it going?" She asked him with a warm smile as she followed his gaze over the grounds..

"It's so peaceful out there isn't it?" She asked as she looked over at him again..before her eyes trailed downwards and she blinked a little..

"Umm, not be rude or anything..But, what are you wearing?" She was slightly confused at his attire.

Jace started to hum, and tapped the air with his hands, imagining himself playing the Japanese taiko. He sort of...misses Japan’s clean air, and peaceful environment. Jace abruptly stopped, and turned to face his friend. “Hello Azura-san. I hope I’m not disturbing you.” He said offering her a grin. He gazed back at the open ground, and nodded in agreement. “It is, yes. But it’s going to be covered in snow soon...” Merlin, he hated snow. The winter season is just too cold for the half-Japanese.

Jace blinked and looked at himself when he got asked about his attire. “Oh! This is a practice uniform. I was practising...well, more of meditating by shooting blunt arrows back in the Room of Requirement.” Jace said as he smoothed out his white gi. “This is what we call a kyudo-gi...” he said pointing to his shirt, “And this one is a hakama.” He said gesturing to his black trousers. “It looks...weird, isn’t it?” Well, Azura’s reaction was a typical one anyway. Most westerners don’t get such tradition.

Azura shook her head as Jace turned to her and spoke. She smiled warmly at him, "Not at all, I was just..thinking a bit, basking in the peace." She wasn't going to say who what she had been thinking about though.

"Mmmm, it will be, I'm looking forward to it." Though, something in his voice made her think that he didn't like snow at all. "Do you not like the cold?" She could take or leave the cold, but the snow she loved, it made everything so white and pretty!

She leaned towards him a little as he explained his attire. "Ohhh,is that part of the balance training you do?" She asked him curiously.. Also, he had found the room of requirement? That was super cool!! She was also slightly envious! She hadn't found it yet!

She shook her head as he said that it looked weird.. "No, it doesn't look weird at all, it's just different from our usual robes and I was wondering what it was for, that's all." Her purple eyes scanned him for a moment..

"I think it fits you perfectly." She said with a warm smile.

Jace stopped his air-drumming as he focused on Azura this time. Basking in peace could be a good thing, but it could also mean something is up. “Are you...bothered by something?” he asked, brows furrowing. Ravenclaws think a lot, that he was sure of, but excessive thinking can be bad, does she know?

Jace shook his head, and smiled at Azura. “I don’t like the cold at all. But...what can we do? I can’t stop seasons from changing.” He said propping his chin once more on the ledge. “Besides...I can’t be too selfish. Some, like you, loves winter.” He said nodding. Merlin, he knew how bad snow can be in Hogwarts.

“Oh, Kyudo? It’s more of a meditation exercise than balance. Kendo, yes. It involves a lot of balance.” Like...she can’t be sloppy with her movements?

Jace smiled, and gave her a proper bow. “Arigatou.” Not everyone appreciates Japanese clothing, so he was thankful Azura finds it okay.

Azura shot Jace a warm smile as he asked if she was bothered by something.. "Nothing terribly bad, I'm just missing a friend and trying to think up a song to write." She was probably thinking just a tad to much, and she needed to calm down a little before she thought herself into a panic. Thankfully, being here with Jace and looking over at the view was easing her mind a little.

She turned to regard the boy as he propped up his chin on the ledge and she leaned against the ledge, her elbow on it as she faced him. "Mmm, no I guess you can't stop seasons from changing.. I'll be sure to find you some extra warm gloves." She said with a nod.. Her mom could knit! She would just send home for some.

"The cold makes me feel lonely actually." She admitted to him, as she played with the edges of her black hair.. "But seeing everything covered in Snow is probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever beheld.. so i guess it's a trade off." She said with a smile. "What is your favorite season?"

Ahh, two different things, she would need to study up on these words so she could hold a more intelligent conversation with her friend. She wondered if he was missing home? And she made a point then and there to become as versed in Japanese culture as she could possibly be! "Kendo, balance, Kyudo is meditation." She made a mental note to look those terms up as well. '

She straightened a bit as he bowed to her..

"You are welcome" She said with a smile as she bowed back to him.

“Mm.” He said nodding his head, while his chin was propped on the ledge still. “But it is a terrible feeling, Azura! When you miss someone...” he said, not making eye contact with her, and just continued to air-drum. “I suppose...you should let your friend know you miss her...or him.” Jace shrugged, as he flicked a biscuit crumb from the ledge. “I didn’t know you write songs.” He added, lifting his chin from the ledge and finally looked at his friend.

The eleven year old listened as he toyed with the hem of his sleeve. The cold makes the feeling worse, did she know? It’s too sad...too dark for him even. “I...agree. It’s...just a sad season for me. I like the rain though.” He said nodding. “My favourite season would be spring. It’s very beautiful in Japan when the cherry trees blossom fully.” He said folding his right arm and leaned on the ledge. “Also, we have a lot of festivals starting by then.” They have beautifu;, breathtaking ones...and weird ones as well. Merlin, how he wished he could be in Japan right now and partake in the colourful events. But, sadly, school comes first.

Azura looked over at Jace as he spoke.. and she could feel that he was speaking from experience.. "Mmm, you are right, it is a terrible feeling missing them, and it feels like nothing will be right again until you see them." Azura bit her lip a little as she looked out onto the grounds.. "Who do you miss Jace?" She asked him softly. He couldn't just say that and not miss someone.. something was up. "I wish I could tell them." The look on Jazzy's face though..she couldn't get that terrified look out of her mind..

Was it really so bad? Her imaginary feelings? What if they were real? What would happen then?

She shook herself from her thoughts and nodded as she looked at Jace. 'Mmm, I am trying at least.. Nothing super special, but it's a start." She said with a nod.

A sad season? She bit her lip more.. not wanting her friend to be sad.. so she didn't fully comment on it! "I like the rain too, it's very soothing." She said as she tried to smile at him. "It sounds beautiful.. in Japan. I'm sure you must miss it."

Jace sighed, knowing that Azura will ask that question eventually. He didn’t want to look and sound like a big baby, missing the people close to him felt really painful. “My grandparents in Japan.” He said, not making eye contact with his friend. “I miss going to the dojo with my grandpa...and I miss accompanying my grandmother to the market.” He said, shrugging. “I don’t know why...but...I feel sad thinking about them and being so far away from them. Exchanging letters with my grandparents makes me feel better, though.”

Jace blinked...and tried to process what Azura meant by what she said. How can she not express it? Was it...taboo in the English culture to say that you miss someone? Is it...some form of public affection that is frowned upon? “Why not?” Jace finally asked, facing her. “I’m sure your friend will appreciate it.” Assuming it’s a friend of Azura, they’re talking about.

“It is very soothing! I like the sound of it...and the smell.” Jace gazed outside again, wondering when it will rain in Scotland. “Mm. I do miss home...” he said softly. He took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly. “I’d love to show you around Japan one day. You, Rachel...and Garreth! I’m sure you guys will love it there.” Jace said beaming at the idea. “I mentioned the Hima Festival to Rachel before...it’s a doll festival, celebrated in honour of the girls in Japan. You’d probably like the 12 Layer Robe, during the Saio Festival...and Garreth...he’d probably like the Fighting Festival.” Jace nodded, wondering what else they would enjoy if they visited his country. “What do you know about Japan, Azura?”

Ohhh.. he missed his grandparents!! That was so sad! And it was probably so different here than it was in Japan! She missed her parents, but at least she was used to this country, it was probably even worse for Jace. She leaned on the banister as he spoke.. It kinda hurt that he didn't look at her.. She would understand! But she didn't say anything as she listened to him fully. "It's perfectly normal to be homesick Jace." She said with a warm smile,, one of her hands moving upwards, almost as if she was going to pet his arm.. and finally.. the hand did land on his arm, trying to comfort him.. "I miss my parents too, but I can understand if it's harder for you.. here in a strange country.." She felt so bad for him and she wished she knew what to do! "I feel sad when I think of my family as well, that's why I write them a letter each day." She said softly, she hadn't told anyone that yet! Her hand dropped from his arms and she bit her lip.."Sorry about that." She hadn't even realized she had done that!

Azura slowly shook her head.. "I somehow don't think he will.. You see the other day.. He told me he had found a piano in Hogwarts.. and I was so excited I hugged him and told him that I loved him.." She sighed softly.. as it was her turn to stare blankly out on the landscape. "I didn't mean it of course, I was just so happy! It just came out.. and he looked at me as though I had three heads." She tugged on her hair a bit.. "So you see, telling him that I miss him.. isn't an option." She explained as she finally looked back at Jace and shrugged a bit.

"It does smell good doesn't it? The rain in the air as the wind pushed it to your nose.. It is very.. cleansing.." She said with a warm smile.."This would probably be a good place to come when it does start to rain." She motioned out at the view before them.

She nodded as he spoke. [b]"I'm sure we would love it! And you know Rachel and Garreth too? They are super cool aren't they?" She asked him before smiling "I'm sure we would all love to go with you and see it." She listened as he spoke about what festival she would like and made a mental note to look it up later before he asked her what she knew about Japan..

"Well, I know they had cartoons called Anime, comics called Manga.. I actually have a favorite manga. I know it's really pretty there, really crowded, they eat sushi.. and Japan has you.. So it must be great."

Jace was still, busy looking out and trying to change the setting with his mind. He pictured Mount Fuji from afar...and Lake Kawaguchi at its foot. He pictured the image vividly in his mind, and it even made his feelings worse. If things were more than okay between his parents, then there was a huge percentile that he won’t be in Hogwarts right now. He’d be in Japan, close to his maternal family. Definitely, his heart was closer to the Land of the Rising Sun. “I know...” Jace trailed off, sighing softly. “As much as I distract myself to ignore homesickness, I...just can’t get rid of it. I suppose I will just have to deal with it head on.” He tried other ways already, and none of those worked. “I suppose I just have to get used to it?” Jace felt Azura’s hand on his arm, and he grinned at the gesture. Azura’s being too nice, isn’t she?

The next words that came from his companion’s mouth made the boy look at her this time. So, her friend is a Hogwartian? Jace didn’t say anything about it, instead, he kept it stored in his mind just in case he needed the information later on. What made him really turn was Azura’s confession. Jace looked around her face, and sort of confirmed that she doesn’t have three heads. “I’m sure it’s a misunderstanding. I suppose your friend knows you love music, so it’s just an outburst of emotion.” Well, what else will it be? “I’m guessing your friend is a boy?” Jace asked, and in the back of his mind, he thought how assuming this person is. As far as Jace could tell, Azura loved his discovery of the piano, and not exactly...him, as a boy or whatever. “But...do you?” Jace added. “Miss him, that is.” The first year Ravenclaw wanted to know. There were lots of clues being dropped here and there, though it’s a bit confusing still.

“It does smell good. It’s called, ‘Petrichor’, did you know?” Of course, the half-Japanese Ravenclaw knows. He’s read books about useless information as an activity to kill time. Jace nodded and looked out of the balcony again, “But...I think we’ll be home when that happens?” It would probably be storming in Japan once summer rolls in.

Jace nodded and smiled at the mention of Rachel and Garreth. “They are good friends, yes. Garreth and I make a good team!” Jace wished he could spend more time with the boy and get to know him more. He’s got this feeling that Garreth is a brilliant boy, and he would love to learn from his friend.

“It will be better if Japan met you guys.” Jace responded, turning a slight shade of pink as he did so. He’s not really good with compliments, but he’d take it nonetheless.

Azura nodded "It's probably best to deal with it head on, then to try and ignore it. Because ignoring it will only make it fester deep down and then it will get worse!" She should know.. She hadn't been dealing with hers and it ended with her crying all alone in the common room the other day.. It was best to face it head on! "I'm sure it will get better, but for now.. I'm here.. I'll listen." She said with a warm smile over at her friend, grateful that he hadn't freaked out when she had touched his arm. Sometimes her body had a mind of it's own when it came to comforting people!

She looked at him for a moment as he turned to face her and she watched as he looked around her for a moment, she was curious as to what he was checking for, but his next words pulled her attention away from his actions.

"Yes, he does know that I love music, but still." She twisted her fingers and looked away, her purple eyes barely focusing on the scenery around her.. instead she was back at the pathways, watching the look on Jasper's face after she had accidentally told him that she loved him. Maybe it was for the best that he had gotten busy. At least she couldn't stick her foot in her mouth again! "Yes, he is a boy, Jasper Quinn." She said softly as she looked over at Jace again and she slowly nodded. "Mmm, I miss him." He was her friend.. and she missed him! "I think I like my friends too much. I miss them when they go away." She said with a bit of a shrug.. She had missed Jace too when she hadn't seen him for a bit.. It was really just how she was.

Azura shook her head at the boys question. "I didn't know that actually. She said with a warm smile as she looked back over at him for a moment. "Home? Does it rain differently in Japan than it does here? It should start raining soon I would think.. before the snow gets here.. there is rain." She explained to him.

"I like them too, I haven't spent much time with Rachel, but Garreth and I had a nice conversation the other day. He's super cool." Until he abandoned her in DADA.. but she couldn't blame him.. At least she didn't die and so she didn't have to haunt him.

Azura smiled warmly at him.."Well, we can't wait to meet it." She said with a nod..

Jace nodded, sending the hair on his forehead gets swept by the passing breeze. “We will get used to it somehow. I guess, we just have to be patient and take it one step at a time.” Of course, he was trying to approach the problem in the most logical way. “I suppose a good cry should be good too?” Not really a question, but an idea that he was sort of entertaining at the moment. Not that he will cry in front of Azura, no, but sometime when he’s alone in their dorms...or probably somewhere far from the towers where no one could see him.

“But still...what?” Jace asked, his curiosity getting the best of him. Azura’s plight was an interesting one really. There’s just so much love coming out from her. “Are you sure that you’re just thankful that he found the perfect place for you to practice...or is it something else?” Like...a crush? Obviously, Jace was oblivious to that kind of feeling. He simply sees girls as...friends that belonged to the opposite gender. It was no big deal for the eleven year old. What was important to him was that, he got to make friends from both sides. However, as Azura mentioned the boy’s name, Jace blinked at her. Of course he knows that name. He’s a fellow first year Ravenclaw after all! They both share the same dorm. “You know what they say about our school. It’s one of the best in Europe so it’s natural that we’re piled up with a lot of coursework. I’m sure Jasper’s just catching up with school work right now, or trying to get ahead with the lessons. We’re Ravenclaws after all.” Jace grinned at Azura, trying to assure her that she shouldn’t be worried. “That could be a problem though, the missing part?” Jace said looking out the balcony. “But...think about the next time you’ll meet him. He’ll be happy to see you.” Jace nodded, trying to tell Azura that she shouldn’t be too negative about things. That’s just going to make her feel negative all the time.

“Petrichor.” Jace nodded. “Now you know.” He grinned, nudging Azura ever so gently. "The rain here is definitely different from Japan's. Ours are pretty strong between May and September of each year." However, Jace’s mind wandered though, when she mentioned the names of their friends. “I’m sure you know about the lost doll being kept by Rachel...” Because from what he heard, the doll’s in their dorm right now. “Any thoughts about it?” Because Jace can’t help but get curious about it too.

Azura nodded softly as she glanced over at Jace, they would have to take it one day at a time and be patient..Still, she would be there for him if he wanted. Her purple eyes softened a little bit as he spoke about having a good cry.. "Mmm, It actually really helps, I would recommend the towers, or the common room in the middle of the night, no one is there, and if you curl up by the fire.. It's a good place and time to cry." She should know.. she had done it several times.

Azura's purple eyes went wide as Jace spoke and the nearly twelve year old blinked a little at him, her hand moving to stroke her hair as she stared at him for a moment.. Something.. else?" Something else like what?? She couldn't.. like him! No!!

NO!! It just wasn't possible.. It was just the Fwoopers playing with her mind right? "It can't be something else, I miss you when I don't see you, and Garreth and Austin and Brady and Colt.." Ohhh those were all boys! That didn't help her cause.. "And Esme and Rachel.." There..

No.. It just.. couldn't be possible.. Because what if she never saw him again? What if he decided he missed Australia too much and had to go home? Then it would hurt if she had a crush on him.. and she didn't want to deal with that.

Instead she turned to Jace and listened as he spoke. "Of course.. I'm sure that's it." She said with a warm nod as she looked over at her friend. "It could be.. but I'm not going to make it a problem." She said softly as she looked back out at the view.. attempting to get a hold of herself.. Before she nodded.

"It will be great to see him again and I'm sure he will be happy to see me." She turned to smile at Jace softly.. "Thank you, for talking to me." She grinned at him before laughing ever so slightly..

"Petrichor.. The smell of the rain.. Now I know." She grinned at him as he nudged her and she nudged him back a bit herself before turning back to look at the view.

"Ahh, well.. We get winter rains, not summer ones.. which is different again isn't it?" She said as she turned and raised and eyebrow at him only to make a bit of a face..

"Actually, she lost it.. I was with her when it disappeared.. it's so weird, it's like it got up and walked right out of the common room." She shuddered a bit.. So weird!

Jace got the feeling that she’d done the crying thing a lot of times the past few weeks. Was her separation anxiety that bad? The boy simply nodded, and didn’t say anything regarding the matter. Maybe his dilemma isn’t much of a big deal after all. Perhaps, he was stronger than Azura, and that he’s actually grateful for it. Crying could be good, but to cry several times in a span of one week is just a no-no for the young samurai.

Jace blinked back, as he glanced at Azura looking a bit...flustered. Jace propped his elbow on the ledge and cradled his head in his hand. It was amusing to see such reaction really. And there was a hint of confusion too! “I think it is something else...” he said, grinning. Well, not triumphantly, but because he may have deducted the situation correctly. “I don’t think you’re this worked up whenever you don’t see any of us...except for Jasper.” Was he correct? Crushes are okay. Jace thought it was pretty harmless because it’s simply an act of admiration, wasn’t it? It’s not as if she loves her in a romantic way, right? They’re just a bunch of kids anyway, so the latter argument didn’t make sense to the boy, plus the fact that he doesn’t know yet what it’s like to fall for someone.

Jace nodded, and grinned at his companion. “Don’t think about it too much, okay? You’re going to miss out all the fun and learning that’s happening.” The Ravenclaw said all knowingly. “And you’re welcome.” He added bowing his head to her.

“The rain’s pretty different in Japan. It’s stronger than the rains here,” Could be disastrous too, especially for their rice, and crop fields. “The country is right next to the Pacific ocean where most of the storms form during that time of the year, so it is to be expected.” Jace fought the urge to explain how a storm is exactly formed with facts and figures, but he thought he’d bore her soon with it. Besides, there was a mysterious doll that is apparently more interesting.

“Oh?” Jace stood straighter this time, and scratched the back of his head. “If that’s the case, then the doll isn’t exactly just a doll. It might be cursed.” The half-Japanese looked out of the balcony, obviously lost in his thoughts.

Azura looked over at Jace just in time to see him nod and then say nothing. She bit her lip and looked away for a moment, she probably shouldn't have said anything about her crying, she was just trying to help after all, but now she seemed kind of like a baby. Not exactly the image she wanted to present to people. Especially to boys! She sighed inwardly as she stared out unseeingly at the view.. Next time she would know better. It was too late to backtrack now!

Azura wanted to bury her head in her hands as Jace spoke, he was too smart for his own good and he seemed to be able to look right through her! She warned herself sternly, never to fall for HIM, that would be a pain she really didn't want to experience. Plus she would be no good at hiding it.

"I think you are right." She said softly, she had heard that Rachel had a crush on someone too, so perhaps it wasn't all that bad? But.. Jasper was busy. A soft sigh and a shrug came from the girl as she bit her lip more.. and tugged at her hand. "But, it doesn't really matter." He wouldn't like her back, even if he was around. And WHY was she worrying about this right now?

"You are right Jace, I shouldn't be worrying about this right now." She had time, and they were only first years at that! She turned to him with a warm smile, glad she could at least sort things out in her head. She smiled at him as he bowed his head to her and she nodded back. "Do you like Chocolate?" She asked him softly, wondering if he would like some of her mom's chocolate cake? It seemed a good prize for him helping her out..

She nodded as he started to speak of Japan.. "Ohh, I understand.. Monsoon's right?" She had thought she had heard of something like that, but she wasn't exactly sure. Was that even what it was called? She had tried to do some research on the country, but hadn't gotten very far..

"Cursed?" She shrieked a little.. that would make sense actually.. "A friend and I saw the doll in the Library the other night, but when we looked back.. it was gone!" Azura's purple eyes were wide with fear..

"So.. It might be cursed!" Ohhh merlin, a creepy cursed doll was on the loose!

It was snowing. To many this might be a normal-ish thing, but to the southern Californian, this was magical. By the way she was just sitting there, out on the balcony, watching the snow fall, a passing student or Professor might get the impression it was the most magical thing she'd seen here. Silly right?

Scarlett was counting down the days until FLORIDA. Her family vacation was going to be such a nice reward for a very hard semester, and she couldn't wait to get out of all the cold and get on a sandy beach somewhere. And to meet Mickey Mouse.

As she passed the fourth floor balcony, she stopped and backed up a few paces because something caught her eye. It looked like...a person was bundled up on the balcony, and at first, her heart skipped a beat. WAS IT THE HAG?! HAD SHE COME BACK!? She couldn't see the person who was wrapped up and couldn't identify a face, but thinking about how that woman was still on the loose...SHUDDERS.

She took a step or two towards her and realized it couldn't be here - the figure was too small. BUT NOW a whole NEW concern came to mind - WAS THE PERSON FROZEN SOLID? That would be the WORST way to start winter break - finding a dead person frozen stiff on the balcony.

"Hey, you ok?" she asked, tapping the person lightly on the shoulder. Geez it was COLD out here. Good thing she had her Hufflepuff cardigan on today...

Jace wanted to tell her that it matters, but realized that it just might confuse her more. The Ravenclaw didn’t want her to stop being friends with Jasper, it’s just that...she’s missing out on so many things. He knew his fellow eagle will come out of ‘hiding’ in time. Whether or not Jasper feels awkward around Azura, Jace had a hunch that it will be revealed sometime in the future. There are so many possibilities why he’s MIA right now really, so Jace doesn’t get why Azura is so worried. Jasper is in school just like them. More or less, he’s safe wherever he is.

Jace grinned at the mention of chocolate. “Who doesn’t like chocolate? I like chocolate...just, not the ice cream variant.” He said nodding. “Why did you ask?” It was kind of...a random question coming from her, wasn’t it? Jace wondered why she asked about it all of a sudden.

“We call it Typhoon back there.” Jace didn’t want to say she’s wrong since he’s not quite sure about the difference of a typhoon from a monsoon. It doesn’t matter though, because they’ve got more pressing issues right now. Like the doll! “Gone...as in...somebody took it or...?” It was kind of a challenge for the young boy to think of a logical answer for it. He’s surrounded by magic...and ghosts that he can see, so having a cursed doll around school is not totally impossible.

Azura smiled warmly as Jace said that he liked chocolate and she let out a sigh of relief. "I'm so glad to hear that! She said with a happy nod as she made a mental note to tell her mom to bake some more cakes for her. "Oh, well, you see my mom makes the most amazing chocolate cake of all times and she sends some to me now and then, so I was wondering if you would like some.. You've helped me out so much.. I thought that.. chocolate cake would be.. a sort of.. Thank you?" She bit her lip a little nervously..

Now that her thoughts were straight on Jazzy, she was determined to get over him. If he left her to go back to Australia, she couldn't take that pain if she still like him. So..

She pushed her thoughts of the boy away for right now. She could think of him later and try to figure out how to get over him. She had more important things to discuss right now!

Like creeepppy dolls!!

Azura shook her head.. "No, gone as is.. gone. As in, it left its self. And it left the worlds creepiest note.." Azura shivered slightly and she bit her lip, hugging Jace wasn't an option, even if she was freaking her self out.. "The note said.. "Come play with me.""

Ohh Fwoopers!! She nearly whimpered, it was all so scary!! The purple eyed girl, turned her head to stare out unseeingly at the scenery, her hands gripping the Bannister so tightly, her fingers were turning white.

Chocolate cakes...or cakes in general aren’t really banned in the Reed household, but Jace could count the number of times he ate a slice with his hand. The treat was definitely something to look forward to. “I’m sure your mom does.” Probably, it was also Azura’s mom’s favourite food in the whole world? Just a guess. “I...did?” Jace looked a bit puzzled, wondering how in Merlin’s underpants he helped her out. Was she that troubled for him to deserve a cake? “Are...are you sure about the cake? I don’t want to bother your mum.” Jace’s cheeks turned pink, imagining Mrs. Kennedy getting all flustered just so she could send him her cake. “You don’t have to get me anything....” Jace mumbled, getting all shy.

The flushed cheek turned pale again when Jace heard about the doll doing unusual things. As a Ravenclaw, he viewed this in the most logical way possible. “Hmm. I think I spoke too soon when I said it’s cursed. It just might be an animated doll. A prank perhaps?” The doll hasn’t caused any trouble yet, right? “Of course it will give out an invitation to play...it’s a doll.” Like...literally, a doll that is meant for playing. “Still...the note could mean another thing.” Jace’s brows furrowed in concentration. “If it is animated, then someone’s definitely controlling it...and the note...the note could be a trap of some sort.” The Ravenclaw blinked as he stared out of the balcony, verifying how plausible his theory might be. “What do you think, Azura?”

Haddie jumped, startled by the unexpected hand on her shoulder. She smiled up at the Hufflepuff partially out of embarrassment, partially out of contentment and nodded. What was the girl's name? "It's snowing." Her smile widened. Haddie turned back to watch the snow fall.

After a moment she turned back to the Hufflepuff. "Are you okay?" It seemed as logical to Haddie to ask the other girl as it seemed for the girl to ask her. Try as she might, Haddie couldn't place the girl's name. They hadn't officially met, sure, but it'd been half a year sharing classes, you'd think she'd know her first name by now. "I don't think we've met... I'm Haddie."
