Ariadne beamed at the professor and widened her arms a little more, just waiting for that glorious toss through the goal hoop...err, toss to her and then placement onto the platform. She still had Quidditch on the brain. "Thanks, Professor!" she called out, pumped up and excited to catch that ball.
It was thrown, and just as Ariadne was about to get it, another boy STOLE IT from her! It was those Gryffindor boys again, wasn't it?! Frown on her face, Ariadne floated around to see that it actually wasn't one the Lion cubs, but one of her own teammates! She changed her expression to a smile and gave the boy a thumbs up. So she was a little disappointed that she didn't get to make the catch herself, but at least it had been a Slytherin this time!
Deciding that the Gryffindor boys just weren't going to let her win, Ariadne floated over to the Ravenclaw platform and took one of their balls. Maybe they would be easier to take from! Now...where were her teammates?
