Henric might feel bad.....no...Henric was more likely pleased with her right? She helped baby bird and was sort of nice to her....even if the little chirp was a brat. "I wouldn't feel flattered, Rachel. After all, we are supposed to help those less experienced than ourselves. Besides, I'm sure he'll love that we are spending time on each other." She winked playfully at the younger girl. If Henric had an issue....after everything they had been through together the past two years, she would think he'd let her know. She would remember it.....hmm. Ilia considered her and nodded not unkindly. "Hopefully it helps you." Really, she actually honestly did want to help her. Part of it because, she liked everyone to feel good about themselves. Partly....because well, the girl might have chosen to hate her, but she couldn't say it was because Ilia had not helped her.
See? Henric was happy with her helping and Rachel the chirp succeeding. She was trying to be a good girlfriend....
She was getting caught up on details a little early and Ilia resisted the urge to roll her eyes at her 'I know that' reply. If you 'know' the answer then why are you asking kid? Still, Ilia's expression didn't change and she fiddled with the box in her hand. Random numbers were the key to their test hmm? What was this, Arithmancy?
She looked over to make sure that Henric had gotten his smaller box open too, and she smiled as she saw him eyeing the numbers. "Good job. On your first try and everything. Use those wand muscles." She smiled as she playfully teased him. And there he was , offering to help the little ones again. What Rachel said next though, really surprised her. Mostly admitting that she'd helped the child, not so surprised with the dislike mention. The latter part she just shrugged off , but she retained a small smile. Yes, she was slightly pleased at the moment. |
