Evie was pleased to see that a couple of her spells at worked, and secretly she was glad that he hadn't plummeted to his death. Dead boyfriends were... not good. Heat of the moment, you know. It seemed like a good idea. Something else that seemed like a good idea was getting her friggin SHOULDER BACK INTO ITS SOCKET. Evie clutched her bad arm to her side, still on her knees as she watched Benzi running and rolling around and entrapping her clones with ropes. Seconds later, her clones shattered into pieces and disappeared in thin air. Which kinda meant she was screwed.

Her eyes went back to Benzi. She raised her wand to attack, but he beat her to it. A defense charm was on her tongue, but as soon as she saw him point his wand at the floor, Evie dove to the side and rolled away as far as she could, but right as she did so, she knew it was over. The second spell left Benzi's mouth too quickly and Evie was in no position (literally) to cast a protection charm. But still, she tried. "Prote--!" Too late. She felt her wand being pulled from her hand before the spell even went through and her stomach dropped when it disappeared from her grip. She stopped her dive just inches from the little sinkhole he created and stared at Benzi, her heart pounding and her face red. She was tired, her shoulder hurt and now Benzi had her wand, so basically her life was ending. This was it. GAME OVER. NO AUROR JOB. HOMELESS FOREVER.

"You look hideous," she said between heavy breaths. Really, he did. Could he even see right now? Where did his eyeballs go?
