It's evident that the confidence in the Broadmoor family skipped a child when it came to Ruby. The quiet one of the family, she is perfectly willing to sit back and let her siblings take the spotlight. Ruby is quite reserved and takes a while to warm up to unfamiliars but always remains polite in introductions despite the serious look on her face, inherited from her father. This can make her appear grumpy or standoffish but truly she is just deep in thought. Once familiar, Ruby is a bubbly and charismatic little girl. Her talents shine through in her intelligence, her nose is often stuck in a book and her favourite part of the day is the homeschooling lessons she received from her parents.

Ruby was the second child to be in the Broadmoor family to parents Trixie and Freddie after older sister Tabitha. Born at their cliff top home in the popular seaside resort of St Ives, Cornwall Ruby has become accustomed thanks to her muggle-born father and pureblood mother to both ways of life. Her identical twin brothers Daniel and Isaac were born in the November of 2079. As a child Ruby was undeniably spoilt and gained a close relationship to her father although she retained a loving relationship with her mother too. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at a young age and thankfully her condition has been controlled by medication.
Her mother works as a healer at her own surgery for those under the age of 18 that are especially nervous of going to hospital environments inspired by her best friends fear of hospitals whilst at school. She is also the owner of a popular local riding stables. Her father currently stays at home to look after and educate the children although is looking to start his own business too.
Much of her childhood has been uneventful and sheltered, the family live on their own private estate and therefore she hasn't met many children of her age. However she often goes to the Falmouth Falcon’s pitch where Oliver teaches her and her sister to play Quidditch where she has met a couple of friends pre-Hogwarts. There have also been rough patches in the family history involving false accusations implied on her father although Ruby was young and barely remembers the dark period of time.
Nowadays family life is happy and relaxed. She received her Hogwarts letter on her eleventh birthday and she is very much looking forward to joining her sister at the school.
