”Try saying the syllables individually. That’s how I got it last time…. Ah-weck-sis.” She repeated, trying to help Brian with his charms. Then she repeated it all together. ”Avexsis.” Struggle!Nod. Struggle!Nod.

If Brian could get her down in the next five or so minutes, she'd have time to repeat it... they just needed to help him get the right pronounciation. Yup Yup.
Brian was starting to get a little frustrated, but his inner Hufflepuff kicked in. He was going to suffer through this and get Marsha down or he might never be able to find a charms partner ever again. Exaggeration, maybe, but it did help to motivate him to try again. "Thanks, guys," he said, very grateful. Yeah. Thanks for not giving up on him despite his utter inability to do this right. Or any spell. NEVERMIND. There was a first time for everything, and that included getting a spell right within the first ten attempts. "I'm sorry it's taking so long!" he called out at the girl three feet in the air on the wall. Well, at least she knew he wasn't doing this on purpose.

"Ah-weck-sis?" he said, pointing his wand at Marsha. It came out as more of a question, but he felt like the pronunciation was coming along better this tie. "Ahwecksis. Avexis." Aaaany time now would be good, wand. Please cooperate. This was actual useful magic and he would very much like to be able to do it, thank you. "Avexis."

Please work.
