It seem like the two of the might have something in common in a few months.
"How are you?" Patting the seat next to her. As odd as this felt, it also felt nice too. She would be lying if she said that she didn't miss Lux, even a little bit. In fact some part of her wanted them to be friends again. Friends, it was something that she never really had a lot of. Most of her friends just sort of dropped her. Kind of like how she did Lux. That was karma at its finest she supposed.
But things had been said by both that had been hurtful. Honestly she had gotten over it long ago. But maybe it was her pride or whatever it was wouldn't allow her to mend that fence but for whatever reason the fence was begging to be fixed. And why not, might not be as strong as before but at least it would be fixed. For a moment Lux honestly thought that Cinna might ignore her.
The response to her greeting came as such a relief, that the redhead immediately at down on the bench. It felt so good to be able to do this again even if it was something as simple as sitting and having a conversation. She had missed her friend so much.
But oh, she was being asked a question. "I'm good!" Things were amazing because she was going to be an aunt and she had just talked to Bay. She smiled. "I'm just happy to not have to do OWLs again." And to talk to her old friends even if it wasn't the same as before. That part would go unsaid...at least for the moment. "How are you?" |
